"The Unfolding Enigma"

After being mercilessly awakened by a certain Kohli, which was followed by a verbal war, Rohit made his way downstairs to have something for his breakfast. Virat left behind to clean the mess they had made while fighting over his methods of waking the other up.

"Look! who decided to show up"

"If you want to live to see another day, you might want to rethink that comment." Rohit retorted, clearly not in the mood due to lack of sleep. The others stifled a laugh at his crankiness, while Harry struggled to come up with a witty comeback.

"Jeez! Chill Cap, I was just trynna mess with you."

"Not in the mood, kid"

Harry opened his mouth to retaliate, 'He was not a kid!', but looking at his Captain's face and the glare of his Best-friend, he decided to keep his mouth shut. "Bhaiya's kid" Harry muttered under his breath.

"You good" Jinks enquired softly as Rohit sat beside him and started to eat.

"I.."

"How could you leave me behind! You heartless fellow, I first skipped my breakfast so that I could wake you up and eat with you later on. But you!"

"Can you let me eat in peace Vi? I have a headache..."

"Headache? Do you have a fever, lemme check"
Having forgotten his initial anger Virat quickly sat on the unoccupied chair on Rohit's right and placed his hand on the other's head.

"Bhukhar toh nhi hai" Virat noted as the others chuckled.

"You should rest Ro, later we have that meeting with the new management staff. We'll wake you up." Bhuvi advised, glancing at the remnants of the red marks around Rohit's neck. The rashes had faded a lot by now. However, the memory was still afresh in his mind. He would not let the other even breathe in the presence of peanuts from now on.

"He's right BRo, you should take a nap if you want to after eating and having your meds. We'll wake you up later on." Rahul added onto Bhuvi's words, concern lacing his voice.

Rohit gave a tired but appreciative smile to the team, feeling their genuine concern. He knew they were like a second family, and he cherished the bond they shared.

"Alright guys, I'll sleep for a while.."

"Have your meds before that, idiot. I promise not to disturb you this time round. But, I only woke you up so you would eat something and then take the meds..."

"It's alright, Vi. I'm not mad at you. Atleast this time." Virat grinned at the sentence.

"Here, your medicine bhaiya" Jass handed the pills to Rohit and made sure he took them.

Rohit, after taking the medicine, decided to heed their advice and get some rest. As he drifted off to the dreamland, he saw a blurry view of a building. The image had been unsettling, with debris and dust swirling in the air as the structure crumbled. It was as if he was viewing the scene through hazy and distorted lenses, unable to make out the details clearly.

He jolted awake, panicked, but then he quickly realized it was just a dream and calmed down. He could feel the headache pulsing in the background, a constant reminder of his unsettling dream. But, he brushed it off as a random nightmare. He laid back on the bed and silently fell back to a dreamless sleep.

Rohit had managed to get a bit of rest, but the headache still clung to him when Kul and Jassi gently roused him from his sleep.

"Come on, bhaiya, it's time for the meeting." Jass said, his voice soft and caring. Kul could be seen pouring a glass of ginger tea for their bhaiya.

Rohit, surprisingly slowly opened his eyes and blinked against the light. He yawned and stretched before sitting up. "Right, the meeting. Thanks, guys."

How the kids managed to wake the sleepyhead up was still a fascinating mystery to the others, especially Virat.

Jass handed him a glass of ginger tea and offered a small bowl of crushed peppermint leaves. "Here, bhaiya, take these. They'll help with your headache."

Rohit gratefully accepted the ginger tea and sipped the soothing concoction, savoring the warmth it brought. "You guys really take good care of me. Such nice kids you are."

"Is it good?" Kul asked expecting a praise for their effort in making the tea.

"It is the most soothing thing I had in my life. You two made it?"

Both nodded, shy with the praises showered at them. Rohit smiled lovingly at the two, "Thanks you two."

Kul grinned, and Jass nodded at that. "We've got your back, bhaiya. Let's head to the meeting."

With the remedy starting to work, Rohit got up and prepared to join the meeting with the new management staff, feeling a bit better after the much needed rest and the amazing drink, or was it the care with which it was made .

Rohit entered the meeting room as everyone sat at their respective seats and made themselves comfortable. The team introduced themselves, and the meeting began with the usual formalities. They listened attentively, asking questions when needed, the seniors guiding the discussion with their strategic insights.

The meeting proceeded without any hitches, and everything went smoothly. The new management staff seemed professional and capable, leaving Rohit and the team with a sense of optimism.

As they left the meeting room and headed back to Rohirat's room, two of the new members followed them, a friendly smile on their faces. Virat and Rohit noted their presence and exchanged a polite nod with them. One of them cleared his throat before speaking.

"Hey, Rohit sir, I hope you don't mind me tagging along. I just wanted to say, I'm a massive fan of yours. You've been a legend on the cricket field, and it's an absolute honor to be working with you and your team."

The second member, standing beside his colleague, couldn't resist joining the conversation. With an enthusiastic smile, he chimed in, "And I have to confess, I'm a die-hard Virat Kohli fan myself. Watching you both play for the Indian team has been a privilege. It's amazing to see legends like you in action."

The others exchanged knowing glances. Deciding to leave them alone with their idols, the team made their way to Rohirat's room.

"Last to enter would have to buy ice cream" Shreyash challenged with a grin before taking off toward the room.

Accepting the dare with excitement, Harry, Yuzi, Ishan, Shubh and Jaddu joined the chase, racing to catch Shreyash before he reached the room. The rest of the team, displaying a sensible approach, settled for a brisk speed walk to ensure they didn't lose and end up buying ice cream for the group.

The atmosphere in Rohirat's room was relaxed, with everyone gathered around, comfortably seated on the sofas, floor, and even the bed.

The room buzzed with excitement as Jassi, Kul, and Rahul raced against Ishan, Shreyash, and Shubh in a video game.

Jassi and Ishan were fighting for the lead position while Kul left Shreyash in the dust, leaving him behind as he sped ahead. Meanwhile, Shubh got caught in a cloud of dust thrown by Rahul's car.

"Playing dirty are we?"

"That's called strategy ,Shubh!" Rahul teased, swerving his virtual car skillfully.

Kul and Shreyash, locked in their own racing rivalry, exchanged competitive glances. The video game racing session was turning into a heated race both on and off the screen.

On one side of the room, Yuzi and Jaddu were deeply engrossed in a heated chess match, while Harry, not entirely sure about the rules, offered occasional but mostly unhelpful advice to both sides.

Jaddu, growing frustrated with the knight's limited abilities, questioned, "Why is this knight so restricted? It should be more versatile!" He was clearly unhappy with the constraints. The knights were supposed to be more powerful than just a little jump over the other pieces. This was disrespectful!

Yuzi chuckled, "Well, bhai, that's how the game works. Knights are designed to have unique movement patterns. The restrictions make the game interesting, and it's all about strategy. Imagine if knights had unlimited mobility; the game would be quite different."

Jaddu, still looking disappointed, moved his knight according to the rules.

Rohit and Virat were engrossed in watching old cricket match clips when they accidentally stumbled upon fan edits highlighting the friendship between Rohit and Pollard, as well as Virat and ABD. They watched these edits in silence, but their expressions gradually shifted from happy to irritated to 'I'm gonna kill you' real soon.

Virat couldn't hold back his disapproval any longer. "Ro, this is getting a bit too much, isn't it? Look at those fan edits, they're portraying you and Pollard like some inseparable duo."

Rohit raised an eyebrow and retorted, "And what about these Virat-ABD edits? Some people are talking about your bromance like there's no tomorrow."

Their friendly banter took a more serious turn, each defending their relationship with the foreign player. Jinks and Bhuvi exchanged knowing glances, realizing that their room was about to become the battleground for another Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli showdown.

Just as the convo started to become more heated, the large TV screen they were watching abruptly switched to a news channel.

"Breaking News: Earthquake in..."

Rohit Sharma's face paled as he stared at the TV screen, his thoughts racing, and his mind drifting back to the disturbing vision he had experienced earlier.

A sudden wave of dizziness washed over him. His surroundings seemed to blur, and for a brief moment, he saw flashes of that unsettling vision from his dream – a towering building, disintegrating, debris falling like rain. Then, as quickly as it had come, the vision faded, and he was back in the room.

Confused and disoriented, Rohit blinked, trying to make sense of what he had just experienced. He brushed it off as a momentary lapse of vision and refocused on the news. But the flashes continued to interrupt his perception. The building falling, the chaos, and the impending disaster—each image lasted only seconds before snapping back to the real world.

In that moment, the room fell silent as the news report continued, revealing the devastation caused by the earthquake. Rohit's vision and the news report aligned all too perfectly, leaving him with a chilling sense of unease. Rohit sat there, wondering if there was more to his dream than he initially thought.
