**Jules POV**

"He's coming home today." My mom said as I look at a picture frame of us when we were younger. I smiled and nodded my head.

"Yeah I know." I said and Smoochum nods with me on my head. My adorable pink big lips Pokémon with short blonde hair. We look at my mom, her long wavy brown hair in a pony tail and her big brown eyes happily showing her natural blush and smile.

"You're ready for that tho?" She asked looking at Smoochum and I. We looked at each other before looking back at her and nodded.

"Of course. We've been ready for a long time but you wouldn't let me leave without him." I said before turning to the mirror and check my clothes. I made sure that my long light brown hair was nice and brushed out, my ripped blue jeans and white t shirt with the ice Pokémon symbol on it in a baby blue shade. I looked at my big brown eyes and saw myself becoming my mother one day, a great performer.

"I did that because I care about you." She said fixing my hair and moving my bang to the side of my face.

"Well now I'm old enough to take care of myself, but I'll go with him just for you okay?" I said as Smoochum fixed her hair and I fixed mine.

"I know." She said before looking at me and Smoochum and softly chuckled. "You two are like two pees in a pod." She said smiling. Smoochum and I look at each other and smile seeing that she was right. "You know your brother did the same thing, when he left for his journey." I smiled and remember him doing the same thing with his first Pokémon.

He was standing in front of the mirror with his Togepi in his arms. He was checking his hair and cap to see if he got any dust or anything on it. He loved his purple black cap, because dad gave it to him before he died.

"Where are you going?" I asked walking up to him with my egg in my little blue wagon. He looked down at me and smiled.

"I'm gonna go change the world." He said smiling his usual go getting smile with his short brown hair and big brown eyes.

"How are you gonna do that?" I ask looking at the little egg shell red and blue patterned Pokémon in my brother's arms.

"I don't know." He said looking at him self in the mirror. "But I will never know unless I try." He said just like he always says. Like when he climbed a mountain on a dare just to see the sunrise, or when he swam far into the water just to see water type Pokémon, wishing that he could have one. I smile still a bit confused.

"You look like your father when he went on his journey." Grandmama said walking over to him and giving him a kiss on his forehead. "Good luck and be careful, but most of all have fun." She said before our mom walked over to us in her business suit.

"Come on. It's time to go." She said taking his hand while he held Togepi tightly with his other hand. Grandmama held my hand as they walked out the door waving back at us. I wave my other hand softly.

"I'll come back with a gift for you! Your second Pokémon and a hero as a brother!" He said as he got into the car and left forever. We haven't seen him again in person, just on TV and on the trans receiver.

--Flashback ended--

"I wonder if he's changed." I said looking at how I changed and thinking of all the things Smoochum and I have been through while he was away.

"I'm sure he still loves you." Mom said smiling softly as she looked at us both again.

"He's gonna come back the same stubborn adventurer that left here three years ago." Grandmama said walking over to us with a smile.

"You really think so?" I asked with a giggle.

"I bet my gold tooth on it." She said touching my nose with her finger.

"He is your father's son after all." Mom said smiling. "And we all know that man couldn't be changed even if you paid him a million dollars." She said smiling, her remembering dad smile.

"We actually have a present for you." Grandmama said going into her pockets for something.

"We?" Mom asked a bit confused. I smiled and looked at her also a bit confused.

"Your father and I wanted to give you this the day you begin your journey." She said taking out a beautiful sapphire necklace shaped in the head and horns of the mystical legend Xerneas.

"I love it!" I said happily as she gave it to Smoochum and Smoochum put it around my neck and clipped it in the back.

"You hid that for a long time didn't you?" My mom asked grandmama with her 'really' face. She smiled and nodded in response. "Well it beats my present." She said taking out key and said "Open that incubator."

"Really?!" I said super excited as I turned around and took the egg that my mom never let me touch. I smiled and showed Smoochum who smiled back and looked at the egg.

"Do you like it?" She asked.

"I LOVE IT!" I said turning around hugging them both happily. Smoochum hugged them too and looked at the egg.

"You got room for one more?" A voice asked from the now opened door.
