Since it's almost been two years since I've been on Wattpad I figured I might as well give out some tips.

1) Comments. If you have a book and people comment nice things, say thank you for the comment. It gives you a good look for you and tells the reader you are nice as well.

2) Always try to have a schedule for updating. I understand if school is in the way of updating or you have writers block. Totally understandable. But if you are just being lazy, then get up and write!

3) A cover always brings out a book. Just have a simple picture from Google or a random website isn't going to do much. There are a bunch of talent cover artist here on Wattpad, so ask them for a cover and your book will stand out.

4) If people are being rude to you or the people reading your book, report them. I have had this happen in the past where people just lash out at me for something I've said in my books that's ment to be funny, and they take it personally.

5) Give out update notices on your messenger board. Messenger boards only notify people on there email account, but some people check it so it wouldn't hurt to say one of your books updates and post it onto your message board.

6) Good grammar goes a long way. Not everyone has great grammar, even I don't but I try. If you feel like you need help, ask a person who knows grammar and check over your story before you update or publish it.

7) Reading lists. If a person adds your book to your reading list thank them for doing so. It's a kind gesture too make.
