I know why Kanan cut his hair before going to save Hera! Because he promised that he would see Hera again, and the wolf told him to sacrifice himself for his crew and he would get to see them one last time. So, he didn't want his hair getting in the way!!!!!!!! The wind would be blowing, and he wanted the perfect last view of his Padawan and his wife and his family!!!!!!!
