However when he duels he loves getting under his opponents skin by insulting them, taunting them, and even intimidating causing them to lose focus and the duel. However when he made friends with team RWBY and JNPR along with CFVY he developed a high protective instinct especially towards the hot head of team RWBY Yang Xiao Long.
