Alex's pov

I carried the little gal to my hotel room. Once I opened the door, Gajeel-nii saw me and got up.

"Why are you in my room?" I asked, closing the door.

"Because I'm worried about you. What is that?" He said, pointing to the sleeping cat.

I gasped and hugged her closer.

"She is a cat who needs love and attention!" I said, getting some blankets out.

I placed her on the blankets and got out a first aid kit and some fabric and a needle. I opened the kit and grabbed the rubbing alcohol and cotton balls. I dabbed the cotton balls with the rubbing alcohol and rubbed all the cat's wounds. She was hissing at the stinging pain so that means she's alive. I put the bandages on her wounds and made a small red dress for her.

I put the dress on her and laid her on the bed for some rest. I sat on the chair and wiped away the sweat I had.

"You OK?" Gajeel-nii asked me.

"I'm fine." I said.

The cat started moving before her eyes opened up. I hovered over her, to make sure she's alright.

"Are you OK?" I asked.

She sat up and nodded.

"T-thanks for saving me." She said.

"What's your name?"

"My name is Mei-Rin!" She said.

"What a beautiful name." I said, stroking her head.

She purred a little before snuggling in my hand.

"Oi! Can you telk me who this is now?" Gajeel-nii asked.

Rei hid in my side, scared of Gajeel's scary voice.

"Don't be afraid. He may seem big but he wouldn't hurt a fly." I said.

Gajeel-nii mumbled something under his breath and crossed his arms.

"Gajeel-nii this is Mei-Rin! Mei-Rin, this is my older brother Gajeel!" I said.

Rei slowly pulled away from my body and faced Gajeel.

"You face has metal." Is the first thing she said to him.

I giggled a little and scratched her head.

"It's true." I said.

"But you have them on your arms." He countered.

"But I can hide them, you can't on your face." I said.

He rolled his eyes.

"Whatever!" He said before leaving.

Mei-Rin and I sat on my bed.

"So what's your favorite color?" She asked me.

"Silver, what about you?"

"Red."

"Favorite fruit?" I asked.

"Strawberries!"

"Me too!" I said.

And so for the whole time, we asked questions about each other, what we like and who we are.

I know that this is going to be a great partnership.

He growled.

"I'd rather not talk about that."

I laughed.

"Don't worry, Fairy Tail is for the weak and so is she."

"They are also for the mistakes." He said.

"Ahh, Rouge. Such an amazing sense of humor."

"Be quiet Sting."

I laid on my my bed wondering about Alex. Is she the girl for me?

I am currently mixed up about that. I heard my door open and saw Freed standing there.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Just wanted to check on you. Your in the dark so.." He said.

I moved my head around.

"I'm fine. Don't worry." I said.

"Alright, Laxus." He said before closing the door.

I was engulfed in darkness again as I went through my thoughts about Alex.

"We better find the girl and quick before Crow's Eye finds her."

"I have her coordinates right her- AHHHH!!!!!" Tanaka said before an attack hit her.

I looked behind her and saw Stein standing there. I growled and got into a fighting position.

"Don't even bother Ivy!" He said before an attack behind me hit me.

It caused me to be paralyzed but I tried getting up. Stein grabbed the coordinate tracker and saw the pin point where she was.

"Crocus, Fiore? Perfect..." He said walking away.

My vision started getting blurry and black.

"No, cousin..."

You all probably hate my guts, I have not updated this since February and I just decided to update it now.
