Shivaay - mom please !

Pinky - ok fine .

S - thank you so much mom , you're the best !!

Shivaay jumped in joy and hugged his mother who had a smirky grin on her face.

P- ahaan, but one condition. I'm ready to give you the amount only if you promise me that you would attend the board meeting with your father tomorrow.

His smile went down after hearing her words , he rolled his eyes and gritted his teeth .

S- how many times to tell you mom ? I'm not interested in business, I want to become a creator ! Explore the world of imagination , please mom , this film is really important for me . Please mom !

Pinky didn't pay any heed to his words , she just kept continuing with the paper work which she was doing.

P - your father won't agree to this. He wants you as the CEO of the Oberoi empire and here you want to run behind cameras . I'm sorry shivaay , I can't help you .

S - well , fine ! Don't search for me then .

P - shivaay , what does this mean now ?

S- Mussoorie , forest shoot , I'm leaving in a couple of days with my team .

P - I told you'll get the money only if you

S - it's ok , I'll arrange somehow . You don't have to worry about that .

He interrupted to give his stubborn answer hearing which she frowned worriedly .

P - shivaay why don't you listen to your father once ?

S - sorry mom . I want to be selfish.

Saying this he was about to leave but she held his hand immediately.

P - wait ! I'll speak about this to your father .

S - won't help mom . We both have tried so many times but it was of no use and you know that .

P - let me just

Annika - mam!! mam if you can get some water please.

Their conversation was intervened by the sudden shout of a girl who in turn was carrying another girl in her arms .Since she was facing the other side , shivaay wasn't able to see her .

Pinky hurried to help her , while shivaay took this chance and started to search for pinky's purse on the table .

P - what happened to her ?

A - I don't know , I was coming upstairs and found this girl lying near the 3rd AV room . She fell unconscious.

Annika slowly placed the girl on a small couch kept there .

P - check her pulse while I bring water .

Here , shivaay was seriously fiddling inside pinky's bag to fetch the purse .

A - pulse is normal.

P - hmm.

The girl slowly responded and opened her eyes when they sprinkled some water on her face . Pinky then neared and checked her eyes once .

P - which year ?

' first year mam '

P - so you just attended your first anatomy class today ?

' ye yes mam'

She muttered nervously .

Annika let a sigh of relief on guessing the reason for everything. She and pinky shared a common smile .

A - don't be scared. You're a medical student now , practise to feel and enjoy the thrill in it .

The girl just smiled in response  .

'Thank you mam'

P - you should thank her actually, she carried you till here . By the way you are ?

She questioned annika .

A- I'm annika , 3rd year student.

P - feels good to find such strong future doctors here . A doctor must be spontaneous. Good .

Annika just passed a smile on listening to her statement and soon , her reactions changed when she noticed something. Without waiting anymore, she ran past pinky who was looking at her confusedly.

A - how dare you !!

Shivaay was bewildered on finding some random girl grabbing his collars in force all of a sudden .

S - excuse me ?

P - annika , what are you

A - no mam, you didn't notice . Who is he ? must be some worker in the hospital. He was trying to steal money from your bag mam !

S - what ?!

A - what what ? God has given you two legs and two hands right ? Then why do you steal ! Learn to earn money out of effort .

She almost crushed his collars and shook him like hell while he was loosing his cool step by step .

P - annika leave him .

A - no mam, you don't know such people. Let's take him to the police, they'll give him a nice treatment at the station . Left and right!

He held her hand and tried to get rid of her hold but she didn't let him do that, he was getting furious .

S - mom !

A - not mom , it's ma

Her tongue and mouth didn't let her complete the word when  realization hit her . She crushed her eyes when  she found pinky approving his statement .

P - he's not a worker  , he's my son Shivaay .

Annika let go of his shirt and landed her gaze on him slowly to only notice his fuming face.

A - sorry.

She muttered in a low voice  with  her eyes shrinked , depicting the guilty her .

S - I didn't get you, you do have a high tone for screaming. What happened now ?

He rose his brows making a strict face.

A- sorry.

This time she was loud ,so shivaay approved with a nod .

S - I'm taking your card mom.

P - shivaay , let me speak to your father once.

While they started talking , annika was ready to leave , but stopped on hearing his voice.

S - hey you , wait .

A- my name is annika , not ,you .

S - yes annika . I've got a deal for you .

A - means ?

He cornered his eyes and noticed pinky watching him curiously.

S - not here , meet me at the gate after 4  .

P - shivaay ?

S - nothing mom ,relax !

A - why should I come ?

S - because you'll regret later if you miss this amazing opportunity .

Saying this he left from there leaving a confused annika and pinky who looked at each other with the same reaction .

She wandered her eyes around in search of someone , and suddnely ,she heard a noise from behind.

S- boom !

Annika made a light squeal and wiggled herself when he appeared there all of a sudden. He grinned on watching her reaction for which she rolled her eyes slowly .

S - to be honest, I didn't expect you to come . I mean , I'm a stranger for you but still you made it here so... maybe  you are charmed.

A - please , obviously I'm just curious nothing else . So tell me quickly, what's the deal you were talking about ?

S - yeah , I want you to play the female protagonist in my short film .

As soon as he said this , annika looked baffled .

A - really ?

S - really .

He nodded .

A - well, you aren't requesting , you're demanding . What's with this , I want you to? You can't decide it .

S - what now ? You want me to go on my knees for this ? Come on , I was in search for a new face which suits the character , and I think you can do well .

A - I don't even know you .

S - do I look like some monster ? I won't eat you up ok . Look , I'm genuinely asking , I won't demand and I won't request even . Are you ready for this ?

He questioned straightly, while she remained quite for a few seconds.

A - you didn't even explain the script, how can I decide ?

S - hello mam ! You aren't Ms. Katrina Kaif ....uff , ok , the genre is thriller.

A - thriller?! !

She exclaimed.

S - yeah . And Mussoorie is the shooting  location.

A - but

S - you've got festive holidays next week , so I don't think you would have any problem .

A - I'm actually interested, but my family...

S - don't worry,  I don't make porn movies .

Both annika and shivaay chuckled as soon as he said this .

A - I'll try .

She was taken aback for a moment when he suddnely pulled her hand and started writing something on her palm .

S- we will be leaving in two days so give your answer as soon as possible. Ring me when you've decided ,hmm ?

A train of numbers ran on her palm which she noticed in keen before nodding.

A - ok .

S - bye annika!

He waved his hand and walked past her when ,

A - one second.

S - yeah ?

A - why did you choose me ?

S- because you looked like a perfect psycho when you snatched my collar.

A - ohh ,what ?!

By the time she bursted out  on realizing what he just said , shivaay already escaped from there . He was seen near the car . Before getting in , he turned back and watched her stern face .

S - sorry . I didn't mean to offend you but don't worry , you'll make a beautiful psycho .

Annika narrowed her eyes and showed a light hint of smile on her lips when he shouted this from afar.
