Howdy, partner, and thanks for clicking on this book! Whether you're here out of curiosity, friendship, [pity? 👀], or having enjoyed its predecessors in the series, I'm glad to see you here, and I hope I deliver something worth your while in these pages. (Web pages, not like...paper pages.) 

Anyways, before we saddle up and yeehaw into this new adventure, I have a couple quick disclaimers to make and some credit to lasso onto those who it's due to. (I'm cringing at myself too, so don't worry. 😂) 

Alright, so as is pretty much mandatory, I'll point out this book is only posted to Wattpad.com, under the pen name Y. I. Turner/username flamesword01. Reading this on a site other than Wattpad? Then you are in the Wild West of the internet, my friend, and probably within range of a malware shootout, just sayin'. Please navigate to Wattpad.com and search for "Reformation Wars: Countdown to Catastrophe" there. 

And what about if you are on Wattpad but this ain't the right author? Well in that case, please do report the story for plagiarism, and let me know (again, flamesword01/Y. I. Turner) if you see fit. Hopefully the sheriff will come by and give the intellectual property thieves their reckoning. 😉😆 

On a far less...criminal note, I'll just throw out there that this is book five of the Reformation Wars series. (The second book of the second trilogy.) I'll leave it up to you how far back you'd like to backtrack to get up to date (if at all 👀), but just putting that information up front. I personally say books 1 and 4 are the best starting spots if you're new, but again, whatever floats thine vessel. 

(That doesn't sound cowboy-ish anymore, oh well.) 

Alright, just a few acknowledgements, sorry this is getting so long, lol. So I'd like to thank @avadel for delivering yet another outstanding cover. I'd say I've met a good few graphic designers on Wattpad by now, but none of the consistent ones go back quite as far as Avadel. For literal years, they've been providing quality covers for me, and I can't be thankful enough. ❤️

I'd also like to acknowledge two faithful readers of this series up to this point, @xoxaria and @thenovice_j . I appreciate you both for sticking along with me on this long-winded, twisty journey and leaving engaging comments that never fail to brighten my day. People like you make persisting as a small author on this platform worth it. 😁 

Lastly, I know you haven't been able to find time to read in earnest, @AbigailBucks , but having someone like you who saw the old versions of some of these stories to scream with over the glorious revisions and rewrites, it's really special, and I really appreciate it. I don't know if every writer out there needs their creative consultant, but I'm glad to have mine. 😌

Anyways, at last, I'm done. I guess I did manage to cram all that in just over 500 words, so that's acceptable, I think. Now let's just [drool over] I MEAN LOOK AT the cast, peruse the map for a second, and then dive into chapter 1!
