A depressed (Y/n) is trekking on the partly snowy ground. She sighs and drops on a pile of snow and has a flashback to her his kiss with Sam and the moment Rigby runs out the door from the Christmas party in tears. "Man, I hate mistletoes." She said. Later on she is at the coffee shop. The coffee shop door opens and Rigby enters. "Uhhh, Hey Rigby. Thanks for coming." They both sit down. "It's great to see you. How's your week been going?" (Y/n) asked, and Rigby raises an eyebrow at her in disbelief.

"So you wanted to tell me something?" He asked. "Oh uh right, one sec...." (Y/n) pulls out some presents for him. "I got you something." Rigby takes a giant piece of candy saying "I'M SORRY" (Y/n) hands him a tape. "And I made this mix tape." The title of the tape says "I'M SORRY" as well. "All of the songs are apologies." (Y/n) said. "I'll listen to them later." Rigby said. A short silence occurs. "Look I wanted to...." The duo said at the same time. "Augh! Rigby, I'm really sorry! I don't know what happened." (Y/n) said. "You don't? Because I can refresh your memory." Rigby said sarcastically.

"No, no. I just mean it was crazy. It didn't mean anything, I swear. Sam and I.. all that stuff is in the past. It was just.. it was midnight and we were under a mistletoe, I was bound by mistletoe rules. I think that's a real law in some countries." She turns her head. "Eileen, back me up on this." Eileen shakes her head and runs away, not wanting to get involved. "(Y/n), what you did was really lame. After all this time I FINALLY had the guts to ask you to be my girlfriend and then you kiss Sam right in front of me! I even asked you if you weren't interested in him anymore and you told me you weren't! It took me this whole week to start feeling like I could look at your face without wanting to break a chair over it." Rigby said. "Understandable."

(Y/n) nods her head. "But if your being honest about this mistletoe thing I mean, I missed you. I feel like I'm ready to forgive and forget." Rigby said. "Really?" (Y/n) asked. "As long as you swear this time there's NOTHING going on with you and Sam." Rigby said. "I swear, honest. I just want things to go back to how they were before." (Y/n) said. "Before as in, me, you and Mordecai just being best friends, or...?" Rigby asked. Just then, the song from Butt Dial is heard and a selfie of (Y/n) and Sam appears on (Y/n)'s phone. "Sam?" Rigby becomes angry. "Oh in the past, huh?!" He asked. "I thought it was!" (Y/n) said. "Then why is he calling you?!" Rigby asked.

"I don't know! Why is he calling me?" (Y/n) immediately picks up her phone to end the call. "NICE CUSTOM RINGTONE, YOU BITCH!!" Rigby runs out the door. "RIGBY WAIT!" (Y/n) shouted. She is again depressed and sighs, she heard some saxophone music and saw a man on a bridge playing his saxophone with the moon in the background. He notices (Y/n). "Oh hey, (Y/n). I haven't seen you in a couple of days, how're you doin'?" He asked. "Hey Sad Sax, what are you doing here?" He jumps off the bridge and lands near (Y/n) while playing some dramatic saxophone music. "I go whenever I'm needed. Let me guess, boy problems?" He asked. "Actually yeah, how'd you know?" (Y/n) asked. "Lady, they don't call me Sad Sax Guy just because I play the sax and cry a lot. I know a broken heart when I see one, you tell me all about it and let's see if we could get this mess sorted out." He replied.

"Well, I was at this party and..." (Y/n) said. "Aaahh... mistletoe incident. Say no more, lady, I know all about it. I'll tell you what? Because I'm a man of romance, I'm gonna get you two back together." Sad Sax Guy said. "You are? How?" (Y/n) asked skeptically. "I know a guy. He'll hook you up." He hands her a card in his sax saying "Bowler Hat Singing Apology Gram" with the number. Later Rigby is in his room when he hears the doorbell. He goes to answer, and the bowler hat guy is there. "Ohhh, here's a singing telegram, apology and song. (Y/n) was quite a jerk, she knows she did you wrong. But let's be fair, she...." Rigby stops him, unamused. "Ok, ok. Hold on a sec. Do you know what she actually did to me?" Rigby asked. "Well, they don't give us that information, sir."

(Y/n) is watching the conversation from a bush. Rigby leaves and the telegram guy looks at (Y/n). The two approach each other. "So, did it work?" (Y/n) asked. He only stares at her. "You disgust me." He walks off, beginning to sing. Later, (Y/n) and Sad Sax Guy are at the snack bar in the park. "Oh it is worse than I thought. That guy successfully apologized for arson." He picks up a hot dog from the trash. "This is a tough one. No worries though sister, lucky for you, I'm full of brilliant ideas." Sad Sax Guy said. "So, what should I do next?" (Y/n) asked. "Well, if I know men, and, lets be honest, I do. There's one thing men love more than anything else.

Embarrassing elaborate public displays of affection. Here's the plan." Later at a grocery store Rigby is at, there are dancers with (Y/n) performing. (Y/n) falls over and Rigby leaves the store annoyed as (Y/n) is confronted by the dancers. She asked the Sad Sax Guy for more advice. Later (Y/n) and Rigby are running across the street and wave at each other.

Rigby leaves angrily after (Y/n) fakes her death by being hit by a bus. The bus driver toots his horn at (Y/n). Back to the park, (Y/n) is walking through the park and Mordecai grabs her arm. "(Y/n) Stop! Don't do it!" He shouted. (Y/n) yanks her arm out of his grasp. "Mordecai, let go! What are you talking about?!" She asked. "Don't act like you don't know. You've been talking to that saxophone guy again." He said. "So what if I have." She said. "Dude he gives the worst advice in the world. Once he even gave me advice in art school because I was failing sculpture." He said.

~flashback~

Sad sax guy is giving advice to Mordecai for an art sculpture. "Pssh, that's it? Easy, make a sculpture of your instructor's human form." He said.

~present~

"It didn't go so well." Mordecai said. "It will be different this time. He said he understands guys, I mean he is one himself so..." (Y/n) said. "(Y/n), he doesn't even understand how to put on a shirt!" Mordecai shouted. "Whatever dude. Talk to me when your relationship advice is any better." (Y/n) said. "Dang I can't believe faking your death didn't work. Okay okay I got this. Rigby is mad because you smooched another guy right?

So just call up this other guy and get him to talk to Rigby and clear the air." He said. "Get Sam to talk to Rigby? That sounds pretty risky." (Y/n) said. "You don't get anywhere in life without risks lady, and I take stupid risks all the time and look at me." Sad Sax Guy said. Later (Y/n) and Sam are at a bench in the park. "Thanks for coming." (Y/n) said. "I'm just glad we can finally talk. I'm sorry for any trouble I caused you guys. But I don't think it's a good idea for me to get involved." Sam said.

"Yeah you're probably right." (Y/n) said. "If its any constellation, I think Rigby will come around. I mean, he really loves you, (Y/n)." Sam said. She sighs with guilt. "I know..." she said. "Listen (Y/n), maybe I shouldn't have broken that sign on your head and I guess the dancing thing was kind of cool." Rigby drives past the park and sees (Y/n) and Sam hugging and slams on the brakes. He toots his car horn.

"GOD DAMN IT!" "Huh? RIGBY!" (Y/n) said. Rigby gets angry and puts his foot on the accelerator and drives off. "Rigby wait! I can explain! It was just a hug!" (Y/n) shouted. "Sorry (Y/n). I better go before I somehow make things even worse. Good luck." Sam said. "Bye." (Y/n) said. "Man bummer week huh? No offense but your game could use some serious tweaks sister." Sad Sax Guy said. (Y/n) grabs Sad Sax Guy. "YOU, THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!" She shouted furiously.

"What did I do?" He asked. "I never should have listened to you! You don't know anything about men! I did everything you told me, and it just made everything 10 times worse!" (Y/n) shouted. "Ahh! It's true! I'm a total fraud! I don't know nothing about nothing." He starts to cry. "I just tell people what to do to try to feel like a big man. I don't even know how to play this thing except for one song!

And I wouldn't even know that if my sister had forced me to go take a lesson! I'm a hot mess! Wait, of course. (Y/n). That's it. Your sister!" He said. "Dude, are you calling my sister a hot mess?!" (Y/n) asked angrily. "What? No, no, I mean go ask your sister for advice." He said. (Y/n) puts her arm on Sad Sax Guy's shoulder. "Dude, that's the only good advice you ever gave me." She said. "You got yourself on a hornet's nest on this one (Y/n). But I'll tell you something. Mordecai and I have been together for a while now, And I attributed our success to one rule." Anna said. "No lies?" (Y/n) asked.

"That's the one. A good honest conversation can solve any problem. No texting, no emails, just the truth face to face." Anna said. "But he won't answer my phone calls. Let alone look at me in the face." (Y/n) said. "You just have to get his attention first. Then just follow my other rule. Go big or go home." Anna said. "Thanks sis. Huh, you're super sweaty." (Y/n) said. Later (Y/n) is peaking through the window of CJ's apartment, since she knew that Rigby would be there watching TV with CJ, Mordecai and Olivia. (Y/n) picks up a hammer and some Christmas lights.

"Time to go big or go home." She then goes up a scissor lift. "Let's hurry boys. We still have six nativity machines to take down tonight. Hey that girl's messing with the scissor lift. HEY STOP THAT WE JUST TOOK ALL THAT STUFF DOWN. Quit screwing up our prover margins lady!" A worker shouted. "Yeah come down with those lights so we can punch yours out." Another said. "Nice threat dude." "Thanks, It's kind of my thing." He replied. "I'm sorry, I gotta do this to get my friend to talk to me." (Y/n) said. "Nobody cares lady get off the lift and take your beating." The worker said. "Yeah didn't you see the truck? The party's over we don't get paid until we take all of these lights down."

"The party's not over." (Y/n) said. The construction workers shake the scissor lift. "What's going on out there?" CJ asked. "I don't know." Rigby said. He finishes his pizza, and Olivia comes over. "Rigby, you're missing the part where the Dracula shows up. Woah." As (Y/n) struggles she texts Mordecai to tell Rigby to look out the window and the construction workers continue to shake the lift and throw stuff at (Y/n). She falls off but manages to get hold of a rail. "Mordecai, please!"

(Y/n) shouted. "Ahh!!!" Mordecai tears off the curtain. "Mordecai, what the heck, are you crazy?!" CJ asked. Rigby notices what's going on. "(Y/n)?" He asked. (Y/n) plugs in Christmas lights saying "Rigby I'm sorry I've been a total dingus I want to make things right can we please talk?" And shows an angry face then a happy face of Rigby and he looks from the window with a smile on his face. "It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life." One of the workers cried. "Me too." Another also cries. (Y/n) and Rigby look at each other and (Y/n) slips from the scissor lift and screams

and Rigby screams her name. (Y/n) wakes up in the hospital with her bandage wrapped everywhere and being unable to move. Rigby is there at the hospital. "Uhh my head huh?" She asked. "Are you alright?" Rigby asked her with concern. "Never better. I didn't think you were ever going to talk to me again." She said. "What?! (Y/n) that's ridiculous. Sure I was mad, but we still are best friends. But I still want to clear the air. I have to know what's going on between you and Sam. No more weirdness, no candy, no teddy bears.

Be straight with me this time." Rigby said. "Sam and I... Sam means a lot to me. I was in love with Sam for a long time and when he had to leave it hurt for just as long. Seeing him and Thomas at the Christmas Party brought up a lot of stuff for me that I wasn't ready to deal with and I acted like an idiot. Rigby I screwed up and I feel terrible for hurting you, but Sam and I are over now. I understand if you hate my guts but I hope you know that I don't want to be with anyone but you..." (Y/n) blushes, and so does Rigby and he looks away shyly for a moment. "Thanks for being honest (Y/n). I think we can give this one more shot." He said. There is a small piece of mistletoe on the ceiling and Rigby lifts up the hospital bed (Y/n) is in and they kiss and the Sad Sax Guy is watching them from the window and going down using the scissor lift.
