The whole day passed by in laughter preparation and a lot of leg pulling and fun. Sikhar and Virat already had had two fights about the colour if the tapestry over the bride grooms seat and Jinks (cause who else) calmly pointed out it's Rohit's engagement so it should be his choice. Asking Rohit turned out to be equally futile because he seemed to be confused between five colours. Jinks sensing another, Virat, Sikhi and Rohit argument coming up looked at MS helplessly. MS seemed to be enjoying the banter, but as he too knew the amount of delay these three had the ability to cause just by arguing, he promptly jumped in to help Jinks, "I think you should go and ask aunty." MS suggested "She will give the best opinion, it's her eldest son's wedding after all." "Yup because you three cannot agree on one thing for the world." Jinks added exasperated. The three murmured in agreement and dashed to find Rohit's mom. "When will they grow up?" Jinks almost whined. "That's question I guess nobody has an answer to" MS said "anyway let's get the list flowers and light complete, while they decide the tapestry." "Ok Mahi Bhai" Jinks followed him. The whole day passed in small incidents like this that made them feel more and more like family.

Night before engagement after dinner:

Rohit's parents had already gone to bed. The ladies were sitting outside talking about something, while The boys sat at the dining table chit chatting. "Arey, did you guys get the ring?" MS asked Virat and Rohit. "Yes" they said in unison. "Toh dikha bhi de humein" Jinks said lazily. "Ha abhi laya." Rohit got up brought the ring. It was a rose gold ring, with a Matt finish and a beautiful diamond setting. "Good choice bro" Sikhar slapped his back. "Pakka aunty ki choice hogi" MS said "Teri choice toh nhi ho sakti.". "Sahi kaha Bhai. His choice can't be that good." Virat said. "Ekdam varna tujh jaisa dost thori chunta" MS said. Sikhi and Jinks laughed out loud. "Bhai yah toh uski lo, yaa toh Meri...dono ki kyun le rahe ho" Virat said making Jinks and Sikhi laugh even more while Rohit sulked. "Ye sab chhoro" Virat said "Aap married logon ko Rohit ko kuchh advise nahin Dena?" "Mujhe Dena hai" Jinks raised his hand like a school kid "When your fiance is calling you, you shouldn't be ignoring it and talking to idiots like Sikhi and Virat." He said pointing at Rohit's phone which was on silent but it was flashing Ritika's name. "Ohh shit!" Rohit said, hastily picking up the call and leaving the room to talk to her with the box of the ring in one hand. This queued another roll of laughter. Sakshi suddenly poked her head in "Kya chal raha hai?" She asked "Something important?" "Arey nahi bhabi"Jinks said "aao na." "Nahi Jinks." Sakshi said "I came to call Mahi. Ziva is throwing tantrum, apparently she wants a bed time story from Papa, mama isn't good enough." "Achha main aata hun." MS said and left with Sakshi.

"I think we should go to bed too" Jinks suggested. "Tomorrow is going to be a long day." "Hmm" Virat agreed. "Arey yeh Ro bhi na." Virat said suddenly noticing that Rohit had just taken the box with him, leaving the ring on the table. "Kabhi nahin sudhrega yeh." Sikhar said picking it up. "It's good we noticed it, you guys give it to him when he comes back to the room." Jinks said. "What's the fun in that?" Virat said suddenly. "What do you mean?" Jinks asked. "I have an idea, listen..." Virat said. "Virat do you think it's a good idea?" Jinks asked skeptically after listening to Virat. "Yaar, tera na...don't be a spoil sport." Sikhi said. "Ok..." Jinks agreed begrudgingly.

That night Rohit came back to his room, to find Sikhi and Virat apparently asleep. He opened the cupboard and kept the box inside oblivious to the fact that it was empty.

The next day, Jinks was out in the hall recieving the guests with Rohit's father and brother whole Sikhi were looking after the food and drinks. MS and Virat was inside helping Ro get ready for the event. "Ro will you stand still and let me pin your angrakha or whatever this huge price if fabric is please?" Virat said mildly irritated "how come you got up late even today is beyond me." "Bhai will you please get the ring from the cupboard." Ro said to MS. "Yeah sure." MS said, opening the cupboard and getting the box only to find it empty. "Where's the ring Ro?" MS asked incredulously. "It should be in the bo..." Rohit trailed off but the box was empty. "It's missing" MS said giving a sharp look to Rohit.

"Don't tell me you misplaced your ring." Virat said in mock dissaproval, while smiling with glee inside because he knew exactly where the ring is. "I had it here yesterday" Rohit said in a small voice. "The where did it go?" MS asked "this is abominable Rohit. How come you lost your wedding ring." "I swear I didn't lose it." Rohit said defending himself "I brought it home showed it you guys last night then put it in the cupboard. But it's gone now, what will I do?" "Calm down" MS said. "We will look for it, may be dropped it somewhere in the house." "I will call Jinks and Sikh, they will help us look for it faster" Virat's said. "Also they need to see Ro's face, that's the whole fun." Virat thought. "Don't worry we will find it." Virat said to Rohit, while typing on his phone to Rohit and Sikh "Come inside fast, the fun had began."
