"Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Leo! Happy Birthday to you!" We all clap together as we finish singing and Leo leans forward in Henry's arms to blow out the candles on the cake.

I can clearly see from the wide smile on her face that Ella is over the moon that her son just turned three.

I turn my head to look at William only to find him bent down so that his hands which are holding the camera at the same level as Leo. I smile as he takes several pictures and then straightens up to point the camera at me.

I'm half smiling, half surprised as he takes the picture. He holds the camera in one hand and puts the other arm around my waist.

I watch as mom kisses Leo on the cheek. Then Henry's parents step forward and fuss over him. When they step away, it's my turn. I walk to the little boy perched on the table and give him a hug.

"Happy Birthday!" I say pulling away and smiling at him. A hand reaches around me and ruffles his hair making him squeal.

I smile as Leo holds his arms out to William and he steps forward to hug him. I can't wait for the next four months to be over so that I can watch William smile like this every day.

"Let's go to the living room to open your presents." Ella suggests taking her son off the table and setting him on the ground. He at once rushes out of the room but when none of us immediately follow be runs back in and tugs on his father's hand to make him walk.

The two grandparents take one sofa and mom I take the other. Henry and William stand near the door and Ella sits on a chair with Leo at her feet surrounded by his presents.

"Which one do you want to opens first?" She asks him.

He points to a big one wrapped in blue. "That one." She helps him unwrap it and with the last of the wrapping paper attached she hands it back to him so that he can remove it himself.

It's a little fish aquarium. We all frown at the empty tank for a few seconds but then Ella breaks the silence saying. "Mom, didn't you give him this?"

"I did. But this only half the gift as I couldn't put the fish in it, so I just brought the empty tank. The fish are at home swimming in a bowl." She explains.

We all burst out laughing at this and Leo grins at the idea of having a pet. The next present is from Henry's parents which is a teddy bear. Ella and Henry got him a racing track. The last one of from me and William.

It's a small rectangular box but I know that he'll love what's inside. He removes the wrapping and then slowly opens the box before giving a little scream and jumping to his feet pulling out the shirt inside the box.

He waves the yellow shirt in the air and runs over to William and hugs his knees before screaming a thank you and running back to his mother.

Ella tries to get him to hand over the shirt so that she can see what he's so excited about but he just won't let go, so I decide to tell her what it is.

"It's an original Australian cricket team shirt. And...Wait, Leo! Give me the shirt." He at once stops smiling thinking that I'm taking the shirt back but I just show his the shirt's back.

This time Ella reads it first. "Oh! Leo! It has your name on it too!"

He claps his hands and I help him put the shirt on and parades around the room showing it to everyone present in the room. He could be called the youngest cricket fan ever. He just loved cricket.

After a few minutes, Mr. and Mrs. McCartney leave and it's just because Henry left to see them off. I look at William and catch his eye. He answers my unasked question by nodding his head. I take a deep breath and turn to mom who left to sit next to Ella.

"Mom?" I ask slowly.

"Yeah?" She asks.

"There is something that I need to tell you." I say.

A worried look crosses her face and she looks from me to William. "Is everything alright between you two?"

I feel like slapping myself. Of course she would have taken it the wrong way thinking that what I had to say was something bad.

I shake my head. "No. Everything's perfectly fine. Better than fine actually."

"What is that supposed to mean?" Ella asks given up her tries to make Leo take off the shirt so he didn't spoil it.

I point to mom and Ella in turn. "You are going to be and grandmother and aunt." When they stare at me in shock, I quickly deicide to add. "To two actually."

Ella is first one recover and rushes out of her seat and throws her arms around me. "Oh God! I'm going to an aunt!" And then pulling away she adds. "My little sister is going to be a mother."

"Firstly, I am only a year than you and secondly, yes, I am going to be a mother." I reply laughing.

When I look at mom I find her with tears in her eyes which shocks me. "Mom? Aren't you happy?"

She smiles through the tears and then wipes them away. "Of course I am. I just never thought I'd ever see this day because after your father..."

She trails off but I don't need any more explanation because I know what she means.

I stand up as she walks over to me and envelopes me in a hug. When she pulls away her mouth hangs open.

"What?" I ask shocked.

"I just realized that your children will be princes or princesses. So I'll be grandmother to royalty. This is unbelievable!" She exclaims.

We all laugh together and I turn to look at William who has a satisfied look on his face which clearly means as long as you're happy, I'm happy.

I have a really bad headache and a soar throat, so I'm going to keep this short because it feels like I'm actually talking to you guys ;)
