Oh, did I forget to mention that we have two cats? A black one with yellow eyes whose name is Kotoba.

And a white one with blue eyes whose name is Mirai. Mirai often reminds me of Killua. I used to joke that it is Killua reincarnated.

Together, their names are Mirai and Kotoba, meaning Future and Words, put them together, it becomes Future Words.

Anyways, I petted Kotoba's back while checking the calendar. 20 June. Ooh, it's the festival of lights tomorrow! I called everyone to make sure they are all coming.

We are gonna have so much fun!

I checked my dress neatly. I was wearing a dark blue yukata with yellow flowers and huge green leaves.

"Mama, why can't I wear that?" Amiko pouted cutely. I bent down.

"When you get old enough, I will buy you one, ok?" I said softly. She continued pouting, so I had to think of something else. "Uncle Killua is coming, you know? He won't like to see you sad"

"Fine," she said and gave a half smile. I smiled warmly at her and took her hand.

Timeskip

I waved to Acchan, (b/f/n), (e/s/n), Leorio, Gon, Kurapika and Killua. They waved back. Kurama and Rin were in their hands again.

Acchan wore a yellow yukata with red roses. She looked really pretty in it.

My best friend was wearing a purple yukata with white flowers.

(E/s/n) was wearing a green yukata with red flowers.

The boys were all wearing the same thing. I sweat dropped.

"Uh, why are you all wearing the same thing?" I asked.

"It was cheap," Leorio defended.

"And I am out of money," whispered Gon.

"I am just accompanying them," said Kurapika.

"They forced me," said Killua, hands behind his head. I laughed at them all.

"Uncle Killua!" Amiko cried. Killua picked her up and laughed along with her.

"Come on, let's go," I said.

"Couples night!" Acchan announced and disappeared with Gon.

The others went away too, leaving me with Killua and Amiko.

"Where should we go first?" Killua asked, looking around.

"Shooting," I mumbled. He looked around and found one.

"Let's compete," he suggested. I took up one gun and he took the other.

We fired and he won. The prize was a small necklace with a fairy.

"For you," Killua put it around Amiko's neck. I just smiled inwardly. I am such a coward.

We ate takoyaki and Udon and met Kurapika's family in the dango shop.

We roamed and played a few games here and there. Amiko was exhausted by the time the festival ended.

"Eheh, just the fireworks remaining," I told her. She nodded and we went to find a good spot. We found one on the bridge. Unfortunately, we were surrounded by couples, which made me kinda uncomfortable.

"Wow," Amiko said softly. The fireworks were colourful.

"Hey, (y/n)," Killua said in my ear.

"Hm?" I replied, my eyes stuck on the fireworks.

"I have to tell you something very very important"

I looked at him then at Amiko. She has fallen asleep. I nodded.
