After finding out that they weren't exactly as hot on Adriana's trail as they thought, the group decides to head back to San Francisco to regroup. However, as they are flying back on Regina's plane, a mysterious message pops up on all of the TV screens. It is very brief, as all the mysterious, calm voice from the message says is "The runner is in the heart of the team."

Abby, being the fangirl she is, is quick to point out that "The Runner" is a common fandom nickname for Adriana. The team decided that this must be a clue to where Adriana is. As they discuss "the heart of the team" they realize it might have something to do with family. Helene points out that her adoptive mother, Bridget, was born in New York (just a lil bit of Parker family lore), and that Juliet, Adriana's mom friend, was the guardian of New York.

It looks like the squad is headed to New York City.
