"-ton?" Clinton woke with a start. His eyes were wide and a few kids around him snickered. His cheeks turned red with embrassment and the teacher standing in front of him cleared his throat. "Clinton this is the fourth time this week I've caught you sleeping in my class."

"Uh...um..." Clinton mumbled tiredly. He rubbed his numb cheek as he lifted his head.

"Do you understand me? One more time and I'll have to give you a detention. Honestly Clint," the teacher almost looked disappointed. "This is the first month of school, I expect better from you." Mr. Green spoke softly before returning to the front. Clinton looked down at his desk, feeling other students gazes upon him. He sighed forcefully and grabbed his pencil. "Now, how do you subtract two fractions with the same number denomination class?"

"By just subtracting the top,"

"The top ones are subtracted."

"I don't know."

"Ugh..."

Clinton only remained quiet as his fellow classmates answered as he felt his eyes grow droopy once more...

...

"Dude, I can't believe he actually gave you detention." James spoke with a  tsk. "Now how are we gonna hang out? Surely your Mom is gonna ground you." His voice was slightly bumpy as they were traveling on the bus with one another.

"Yeah. It's okay, though. I'll just read. Besides, my Mom doesn't usually ground me long." Clinton shrugged.

"You're so lucky," James laughed and ran his fingers in his hair, straightening his already straight brown hair. "My Mom likes to change it up. You think it'll be grounding one time but it's chores for a month then when you think its chores, its grounding. You never know." He snorted. Clinton smiled. "So what kept you up all night again? Last week you didn't fall asleep in class. Was it that book I got you? I knew you'd like it!" James grinned. Clinton knew his friend was a rambler but he didn't mind. Clinton was one too.

"Yeah. It was. But guess what I saw last night?" Clinton's smile turned into a smirk with an excited glimmer in his eyes. James blinked.

"What?"

"A Pontiac Solstice hardtop." He grinned wider. If humanly possible, the ends of his lips would actually reach his ears. James felt his jaw drop.

"No way."

"Yes way." Clinton nodded.

"In your nieghborhood? Dude! I need to live in there! All I get to see is rusty old cars." He huffed. "Your such a rich kid."

"Nu huh." Clinton only laughed.

"Yes huh. You got such nice houses in your nieghborhood. I've got trailers and creepy houses."

"But creepy houses equals great Halloween days." Clinton smirked. James laughed.

"True. Alright my man, this is my stop. Don't let your Mom kill ya. And hey, if it's not so bad then just give me a call and I'll bike over for a game of basketball." He smiled as he stood up once the bus screeched to a stop. Clinton nodded.

"Okay. See you tomorrow, James!"

"Bye Clint!" James waved and scampered down the steps of the smelly bus. Clinton smiled to himself and looked out the window to watch his friend. His friend waved and waved and waved until he was no longer in sight.

...

An engine rumbled quietly as the car drove smoothly along the roads of Evergreen Forest. The black patrol car was very displeased. He had to use humans as a sheild. For the time being anyway because he had to wait until he was given the signal so he could move on. Barricade hated waiting. And Frenzy didn't help either.

"Stop that," a low rumble threatened in the cab of the police cruiser.

"B-But boss, w-w-we wai-it too l-long. Let's g-go!" Frenzy hissed and bounced in the backseat anxiously. Barricade let a small rev escape his engine in warning. Frenzy quieted down.

"We wait. Do not make me repeat myself." Barricade snapped. Frenzy sneered but waited.

"W-we shou-uld throw the-them Au-Au-utobots off, ba-bait them with di-istr-traction." Frenzy suggested. Barricade hummed.

"And what would make you suggest that?" Barricade growled. Screw Soundwave, he'll rip Frenzy apart for this growing annoyance he was getting.

"Th-they bec-come su-suspicous with thi-is much sil-lence. We want-t no su-suspicon. No int-terference." Frenzy explained best he could through his excited stutters. Barricade sighed and relaxed on his axel as he came to a stop as a large yellow bus rolled in. The bus came to a stop and a door opened. Barricade hissed at the human getting off. Such ugly fleshlings. Then an idea struck.

"You know Frenzy, you might actually be smarter than you look." Barricade chuckled as he watched the boy across the street walk onto the sidewalk.

"Wh-why you say tha-at! I'm sm-mart!" Frenzy snapped.

"Because, I believe we have our bait..."
