Third Person POV 

CLANK 

???: Huh, I didn't. 
A man with black hair said as he looked at a waitress, looking at him as she held a tray in her hands. 

Waitress: From the woman upstairs. Red eyes. Said you wouldn't mind a bottom shelf. 
She said as they both looked up upstairs. 

Man: Thanks. 
He said as the woman leaned towards him. 

Waitress: But I went ahead and gave you top. Lucky you! 
She said, winking at him with a small smile before walking away. 

Man: Yeah. 
He said before grabbing his drink and walk up the stairs. 

???: Hello Qrow. 
A woman with black hair and red eyes said, sitting at a table with a white mask on the table. 

Qrow: Raven. 
He said before pulling a chair to her table, looking at her as she rolled her eyes before removing her mask. 

Qrow: So, what do you want? 
He asked as he sat down, looking at her as he gripped his cup. 

Raven: A girl can't just catch up with her family? 

Qrow: She can, but you're not. How about we get on with it? Unless you plan on keeping these coming. 
He said before taking a sip out of his cup. 

Raven: Does she have it? 
She asked as the two looked at each other. 

Qrow: Did you know Yang lost her arm? 
He asked as his finger swirled around the top edges of his cup. 

Raven: That's not wh-

Qrow: Rhetorical question. I know you know. It's just obnoxious that you bring up family then carry on like your own daughter doesn't exist. 
He said as Raven clenched her fist. 

Raven: I saved her. 

Qrow: Once. Because that was your rule, right? Real "mom of the year" material, sis. 
He said and reached for his cup before her hand gripping tightly onto his wrist. 

Raven: I told you Beacon would fall, and it did. I told you Ozpin will fail, and he has. Now you tell me. Does Salem have it? 
She asked once again as she glared at him, gripping his wrist tightly. 

Qrow: I thought you weren't interested in all of that. 

Raven: I just want to know what we are up against. 

Qrow: And which "we" are you referring to? 
He asked as he continued to look at her before being released from her hold. Seeing frustration in her eyes. 

Qrow: You should come back Raven. The only way we beat her is by working together. All of us. 
He said as he grabbed his cup. 

Raven: You're the one who left. The tribe raised us and you turned your back on them. 

Qrow: They were killers and theives. 
He said as he placed his cup onto the table, looking at her. 

Raven: They were your family. 

Qrow: You have a very skewed perception of that word. 
He said before seeing her stand up, her red eyes glaring at him. 

Raven: I lead our people now. And as a leader I will do everything in my power to ensure our survival. 

Qrow: I saw. The people of Shion saw too. 

Raven: The weak die, the strong live. Those are the rules. 

Qrow: Well, you've certainly got someone strong on your side. I've seen the damage. 

Raven: We couldn't have known the Grimm would set in as quickly as they did. 
She said as she turned away from him, crossing her arms as he continued to look at her. 

Qrow: I'm not talking about the Grimm, and I'm not about you either. 
He said as she looked at him. 

Raven: If you don't know where the relic, then we have nothing left to talk about. 
She said before grabbing her white mask. 

Qrow: I don't know where the Spring Maiden is either. But if you do, I need you to tell me. 
He said as he placed his hand on her white mask. 

Raven: And why would I do that? 
She asked before pulling her white mask away from him. 

Qrow: Because without her, we're all going to die. 
He said as Raven smirked. 

Raven: And which "we" are you referring to? 
She asked rhetorically before putting on her white mask and turned away from him. 

SLASH 

Qrow sat there as Raven walked through a dark red portal, sitting there silently as the portal slowly closed behind the swordsman. 

CRASH 

Qrow slowly turned around to see the same waitress. Seeing her widened eyes with fear. 

Qrow: Make this a double. 
He said as he held his cup in hand. 

To Lilly 

Lilly: How was your talk? 
She asked as she looked at Raven, seeing her sit down on a mat as she faced away from her. 

Raven: As I expected. 
She answered as Lilly looked at her. 

Lilly: What did you learn?

Raven: Just that someone is looking for the Spring Maiden. 
She answered as Lilly looked at her with confusion. 

Lilly: Spring Maiden? 
She asked with a small scoff. 

Lilly: The same thing from the fairy tales all of those keep babbling about? 
She asked, scoffing. 

Raven: Yes. 
She said, eyeing Lilly as the young swordsman looked at her. 

Raven: Where is Y/N? 
She asked as she continued to face away from Lilly. 

Lilly: Out with the others gathering materials from the ongoing SDC trains. 
She answered, crossing her arms. 

Raven: I see. 
She said before crossing her arms, laying her head down. 

Lilly: Hmm... 
She hummed to herself before walking out of the tent, crossing her arms as she clenched her fists. 

Lilly: After all I've done, that's all you give me. 
She growls to herself as she walked away from the tent an into her own. 

Lilly: I'll show you. I'll show you that I'm just as strong as Y/N mother.
