Weiss's POV 

Dream 

"Y/N?" 
I asked as I tugged on his arm, hearing him groan as he slowly opened his eyes, revealing his dulled E/C eyes. 

Y/N: What is it Weiss?
He asked tiredly as I looked at him, holding a blanket in my arms as I looked at him. 

"C-C-Can I sleep w-with you tonight?"
I asked, holding onto my blanket. 

Y/N: Another nightmare? 
He asked as I slowly nodded. 

"Pwease?" 
I asked, fearing he won't let me. 

Y/N: Alright. 
He said before lifting his sheets up. 

"Aye." 
I said with a small smile before climbing onto his bed and sleeping by his side. 

"Good night big bwotha." 
I said, seeing him lay on his side, showing his bruised back to me. 

"What happened to his back?" 
I asked myself as I looked at him. 

Y/N: Good night Weiss. 

To Y/N 

Lilly: Is this what she rewarded you?
She asked as she leaned against a tree, her arms crossed as Y/N nodded silently. 

Lilly: Would you rather be in your tent right now? 
She asked as Y/N nodded once again. 

Lilly: You know you could talk, right? 

Y/N: Yeah. 

Lilly: You know you could talk around me. 
She said as Y/N nodded once more. 

Lilly: I said you could talk around me! 
She growls as Y/N looked at her, revealing his E/C eyes as she glared at him. 

Y/N: What's there to talk about? I'm supposed to be patrolling the perimeter .
He said as she continued to glare at him. 

Y/N: What? 
He asked as she continued to glare at him. 

Lilly: Let's go at it. 
She said, standing up as she drew her sword. 

Y/N's POV 

Lilly: Right here and now. 
She said as I slowly pulled mine from its sheath, still feeling her eyes glaring at me. 

Lilly: Let's see if I can beat you again. 
She said before charging at me, seeing her reel her weapon towards me. 

I quickly raised my sword, blocking her strike before stepping to the side, watching her stumble to the side. She quickly turned around once more, swiping her sword to the side as I quickly raised mine in turn. 

CLANG 

The two of us clashed once more as she glared at me, seeing her red orbs glow in the dark forest around us. I was suddenly pushed back as she swung wildly at me, flinging her sword as it was a toy. 

"Something's not right with her." 
I thought to myself as she lunged at me before seeing someone else. 

Seeing a woman in a white and blue uniform, her icy blue eyes as she held a saber in hand. Seeing her cold blue eyes staring down at me with her saber over her head. 

CLANG 

Third Person POV 

Hoping to win the fight, Lilly slammed her sword down on top her partner before hearing a loud clang. 

Lilly: What...
She said, her eyes widening as a large see-through sword between her and her partner.

Lilly: Have you been holding back on me? 
She asked as Y/N looked at her, the transparent sword mimicking his sword. 

Lilly: Have you been holding back!? 
She yelled as Y/N looked at her before nodding silently. 

Lilly: Why. Why have you been holding back. 
She growls as she glared at him, gripping her hilt tightly in anger. 

Y/N: I don't understand why you are angry about this. 
He said as she continued to glare at him. 

Lilly: You're just like her. 
She muttered to herself as he looked at her. 

Y/N: What do you mean? 
He asked as she turned away from him. 

Lilly: You can stay on patrol by yourself. 
She growls before walking away, leaving the swordsman by himself as he stood alone. His sword in hand as she dragged her sword along the grass. 

Lilly's POV 

"That guy." 
I growled to myself as I walked back to my tent. 

"That guy is just like her." 
I thought to myself, still seeing his transparent sword. 

"With that semblance, he should be using it to fight me. Why doesn't he? Is it because I'm strong enough?" 
I thought to myself as I gritted my teeth before entering my tent, swaying its covers to the side, revealing its inner walls. 

"Damn that guy and damn her." 

"Damn her to hell." 
I cursed them before laying my sword on a small table. 

"She praises him more than me." 
I thought to myself as I looked at the weapon before me. Seeing the scratches etched into its side as I ran my finger along its side. 

Flashback 

Raven: You've lost again Lilly. Try again. 
I heard her, full of authority as I stared up at Y/N, seeing him point his weapon towards me. His E/C eyes staring down at me. 

Raven: So much emotion in your attacks Lilly. Control yourself. 
She said as Y/N looked away from me, walking away from me as I slowly stood up. 

"I'm trying mother."
I said as I looked at her. 

Her red orbs meeting mine as I gripped onto my red bladed sword. Her arms crossed as she looked at me. A small breeze blowing through her hair as I turned towards Y/N. Seeing his blank expression as I got into a stance, gripping onto my sword with both my hands as he held his with one. 

Raven: Begin. 
She said as I charged at Y/N, raising my arms to the side before swinging my sword towards him. Both of weapons clashed together  as I quickly retreated my sword before swinging at him from right to only clash with his once more. 

"Damn it." 
I cursed to myself as he jumped back, creating room between the two of us. 

"This son of a bit-"
I said before seeing a transparent knight charge at him, swinging it's transparent sword towards me from the side. 

CLANG 

"Gah!" 
I gasped as I felt the force of the blow, pushing me away as I stumbled onto the ground, seeing his transparent form standing before me. It's blade leaning against my throat as I looked at him. 

Raven: That'll be it for today. Lilly, come to my tent to be patched up. 

Flashback Ends 

"Hmm, one day, I'll be able to beat him. One day, I'll be the one standing." 
I promised to myself as I looked at my sword's crimson blade. Seeing my reflection running along its crimson blade. 

"One day Y/N. One day, I'll beat you." 

To Y/N 

Y/N now sat alone on a tree branch, his sword on his lap as a woman slowly walked up to him. 

???: Having fun? 
The woman asked as Y/N slowly looked down at her. 

Y/N: What is it Vernal. 
He said as he rubbed a cloth against his sword. 

Vernal: Oh, just wanted to make sure you're still awake. 
She said, smirking at her. 

Vernal: You know, you could have put us on the map for your stunt. 
She said, placing her hand on her hips as Y/N slowly looked down at her. 

Vernal: And that will risk us being rounded up by the SDC all because of you. 
She said as Y/N continue to look down at her. 

Y/N: No, that wouldn't have happen anyway. 
He said as Vernal looked at him with hints of confusion. 

Vernal: What the hell does that mean. 
She said as Y/N swung his sword, watching its features before smiling. 

Y/N: No one in that train made it out alive. As expected. And we've took all of its resources. 
He answered as Vernal looked at him with widen eyes. 

Y/N: Don't you remember Vernal? The strong live and the weak perish.
