I walked with the Evee twins to the nearest town. It was getting late so we went to the Pokémon center in town. Nurse Joy greeted me, and I asked which town this was. "This is Viridian City." Nurse Joy replied. Viridian city was a first stop for young trainers in the Kanto region. If that was true, then the main character of a TV show in the Pokémon world would come barging through the door any minute.

I walked over to a bench to wait for him. The main character's name was Ash Ketchum. He was a ten year old boy from Pallet Town and had just started his Pokémon journey today with his Pokémon partner Pikachu. As I finished that thought, Officer Jenny's motorcycle came driving to the front desk.

"One if the people you will share this journey with." The Evee twins said telepathically together. If I was to share this journey with Ash, then I would have to go to every region with him and try to help him achieve the goal of becoming a Pokémon master.

 Yet if I recalled correctly, there was more than just Pokémon gyms that you could challenge, there were also Pokémon contests you could compete in. I had always wanted to be a coordinator (a Pokémon trainer that competes in contests), but like before with my first journey, I never thought I would have a chance to actually become one. Maybe my journeys are just the plots of TV shows that I watched online and liked such as Persona and Pokémon.

I looked up to see that Ash had just got off the phone with Professor Oak, a Pokémon professor that gives Pokémon to new trainers in Pallet Town when they're old enough.  I walked over to Ash and said, "Pikachu will be okay, don't worry." Ash turned around and asked "Who are you?"

 "My name is Naru." I replied. The Evee twins jumped up on my shoulders and I said, "These are my partners, the Evee twins." "How do you know they're twins?" Ash asked. "They told me." I replied knowing full well that he wouldn't believe a word of it.

 Before Ash had time to process this though, Misty came in and started yelling at Ash about her ruined bike. Pikachu has a knack for accidentally destroying other people's bikes. It was funny in the show, but not in real life. I came in between the fight saying, "That's enough, I don't want to hear your bickering. I've had quite enough between Yosuke and Chie." I said the last part because Yosuke and Chie fight a lot, like an old married couple, and I paired them up as boyfriend and girlfriend because of that. I did not want to hear fighting like that from two people in a show that was hard to pair people up.

 Pikachu came out of the emergency room with Nurse Joy and Chansey, Nurse Joy's Pokémon assistant. Before I could move, there was an evil sounding laugh and the hall was filled with smoke.
