Two hours after Duke had left, Ozone arrived.

"Chloe!" Ozone cried, dashing over to the tabby cat. He nuzzled her head lovingly. Tears flowing down her face, Chloe whimpered, "I'm so sorry, I tried but-"

"The important thing is that you are still here. I don't know what I'd do if you..." Ozone reassured Chloe, licking away her tears. Taking a deep breath, he gestured to their son and continued, "At least one made it." Looking the hairless cat in the eye, Chloe murmured, "I can't keep him though."

"What?! Why?!'

"You know how humans are. Mine is probably gonna want to get rid of him."

"But... what will he do?"

"You have to take him. You can raise him."

"But we agreed that our kits would not know that I'm their father."

"Yes but that's changed. Just... take care of him, please."

Sighing, Ozone mumbled, "Alright, for you Chloe. I'll do it for you." Pointing his hairless tail at their son, he whispered, "You should name him though." Thinking quietly for a few seconds, Chloe answered in a sad voice, "His name will be Rascal."
