"So Thelma, how was life in Oregon?" Buddy asked his sister. He and Mel, along with Mel's brother Bernie had decided to get caught up with their sisters. While Sonya was with her brothers over in Mel's apartment, Buddy was in his own apartment with Thelma. All the while, his three nieces and one nephew played with a tennis ball.

"It was alright I suppose. Very cold over there. Good thing I have thick fur, right?" Thelma said teasingly. Buddy rolled his eyes. He was always jealous that his sister was born with fluffy fur while his own was short and thin. Tilting her head, Thelma asked quietly, "How about you?"

Thinking for a moment, Buddy answered, "Life's been pretty action packed over here." He and Thelma laughed at that. But deep down, the dachshund remembered everything that had happened ever since a year and a half ago. And he figured that there was more to come...
