TWENTY MINUTES LATER...

"SNOWBALL! CAN YOU PLEASE SLOW DOWN?!" Max and Duke shouted moments later. Keeping his eyes on the road, Snowball shouted back, "I'm not the one at the gas pedal, Tattoo is!" Just then, the bus swerved left, tossing everyone around inside. Laying on the ground, Gidget snapped, "I asked for something faster, I didn't mean something to kill us!" Huffing, Snowball turned around in his seat and yelled, "Do you people want me to turn this bus around and limp home?!"

"PEDESTRIAN!" Leonard howled, holding Pepe and Peanut close. Turning back around, Snowball managed to steer the bus away just in time. Peering through a window, Mel piped up, "Hey, I think that's my owner!" Glancing down at Peanut, Leonard exclaimed, "Please don't tell me you filmed the entire battle." Grinning nervously, the chihuahua merely scuffed his foot.

"Did you just run a red light?!" Pops cried from somewhere in the back. "In case you didn't notice, we ran several!" Chloe hissed, glaring at the old dog. Jaw dropping, Pops yelped, "Isn't that illegal?!" Pointing out a window, Nitro shouted, "Do you see any cops after us?!" From there, Pops kept his mouth shut.

"Attention all passengers, this is your captain speaking. We are about to park smoothly but I suggest you grab a hold of something or someone, like... RIGHT NOW!" Snowball screeched as he turned the bus. Rapidly, animals gripped their seats tightly. "BRAKES!" Snowball shouted. Looking down at the pedals on the floor, Tattoo shrugged his shoulders. Duke slapped himself in the face when he realized the predicament at hand.

"THE ONE YOU WEREN'T USING!" Gidget howled from where she and Pepper clung tenaciously onto a metal pole. Again, Tattoo shrugged his shoulders. "You've got to kidding me right now..." Chloe snarled. Bunching her muscles together, she leaped past Tattoo and slammed against the brakes, just in time. The bus screeched to a halt in front of the apartment building. Breathing hard, Snowball murmured, "That was fun..." Instantly, complaints followed the rabbit's words.

"WE ALMOST DIED!" Sky shouted.

"Why is I'm always on the bottom of pileups?" Tiberius rasped from underneath Gidget, Pepper, Ripper, Mel and Buddy.

"GET ME OFF THIS WRETCHED THING!" Pops barked, heading for the door.

"Uh, should my paw be making these sounds?" Peanut asked as he shook it, causing a crackling noise that made everyone cringe.

"You might want to see the vet..." Gidget advised.

"YOU THINK! IT SHOULDN'T BE MAKING THOSE SOUNDS!" Chloe shrieked before opening a window and throwing up. Sweetpea soon joined her.

"Guys, I think Pepe wet himself..." Leonard declared, holding up the chihuahua.

"My head..." Ozone groaned, Nitro and Little Blue standing beside him.

"Snowball, you said it was parking smoothly. WHAT PART OF THIS WAS SMOOTHLY?!" Duke shouted.

"Why am I upside down?" Angel asked from where she somehow got stuck on the ceiling of the bus.

"We'll help you down!" Lisa cried while Norman began searching for a ladder.

"I think I broke my nose..." Sonya murmured.

"Snowball, no more fiascos with buses, okay?" Max begged the rabbit, his legs shaking.

"Tattoo, how did you forget which one was the brake?" Snowball asked his friend quietly. For the third time in less than two minutes, Tattoo shrugged his shoulders. Huffing, Snowball cried, "You're all free to go!"
