"Bye boys! I'll see you later!" Katie called sweetly as she left the apartment that morning. Max and Duke sat down in front of the door as she shut it. "Where does she go during the day?!" Duke whined, resting his chin on his giant paws. "It could be worse," Max told his brother. Just then, a white rabbit appeared at the open window. "You were saying Max?" Duke muttered.

"I have no idea what to do today," Snowball moaned as he hopped through the window, followed by Leonard and Ozone. Sweetpea flew in ahead of Mel and Buddy. Getting to his feet, Duke shut the window. "Didn't Gidget say she wanted a meeting this morning?" the giant dog asked.

"Indeed I did," Gidget answered from where she stood at the front door. Walking over to Max, she was about to say something else when a loud thump came from outside.
