Stretching her legs, Lily crept out from a cardboard box that she had taken refuge inside during the rainstorm that had lasted throughout the night. She felt the sun's rays warming her orange tabby fur. Just then, she stepped on something.

Peering down, Lily discovered a flower petal underneath her white paw. Then she saw another one not too far away, followed by another and another. All over the alley, Lily found a whole bunch of flower petals.

A growl came forth from Lily's throat. Ozone... she thought grimly, swiping away the petals before anyone saw them.
