The next morning, Gidget, Max, and Rooster arrived at a mountain peak. It was snowing fast. Max checked Liam all over. Gidget and Max went forward as Rooster spotted the wolves nearby on a cliff. He stops Max and Gidget to warn them about the ambush that the wolves have planned. He arrives where the wolves were waiting. The wolves notice Max carrying Liam and chase after him. It turned out that the version of Liam was fake as they continue to chase him. Gidget surprises the wolves by knocking them off the mountain with a log. The lead wolf surround Rooster as the other wolves threaten to take down Gidget. Max finds Liam hiding in a cave and tackles one of the wolves. During the fight between the other wolves, Rooster gets injured by the lead wolf as the attack each other and Gidget knocks the lead wolf into a wall, where icicles impaled him as a shock to the other wolves. Gidget gives the other wolves a serious look as she snarls at them and the other wolves retreat.
