"We must solve the dragon problem!" Stoick the Vast yelled throughout the meeting hall. "We have lost too many Vikings!"

"Shouldn't we figure out why the dragons are attacking in the first place?" one chief shouted, earning himself glares from the others.

"And how do you propose we do that, Rantar?" Stoick asked patiently. The other chief stuttered, but failed to find an answer.

The Chiefs returned to bickering with each other, trying to figure out how to solve the dragon problem.

"Stoick, they're dragons," one chief insisted. "They only know how to kill, not how to die!"

Stoick was about to answer when the door swung open. A black-bearded man stepped in, his odd black cloak swirling around him. "I hear you have a dragon problem," he said. "I can solve it for you, for a price."

When they didn't answer, the man continued. "If you all bow down to me, I will rid you of the dragons."

Stoick snorted at this request. "Like that would ever happen."

The man stormed out, saying, "You will all wish that you never said no to me!" As soon as the door slammed shut, the roof burst into flames. Chaos broke loose, some praying, others panicking. As the building burned down, only one chief escaped: Stoick, chief of Berk.
