29 NOVEMBER, 2019 [ NEW ! ] ㅡ hello everyone!!!!! it's your favourite girl again KSJDHKJS anyway i'm just here to announce some changes in the competition! 

all along, i've been giving a rough estimate of 315 days over which the bon voyage teams will be cruising the world. BUT, after doing some rough calculations on how long they'll take to get to each country (while travelling at 20 knots), and planning the most efficient route.... the travel days slipped a little past 105.

OKAY MAYBE NOT LITTLE. WE'RE SAYING LITTLE AS IN. THEY'RE SPENDING AN ESTIMATED 167 DAYS AT SEA.

( they can spend less, though. i'm just playing it safe with 20 knots bc the maximum speed of their yacht is 30 knots at a light load so. yes. )

sO from now on, the competition will take over a span of 380 days! that's one HELL of a while, a little over an year to be exact -- but hey, it had to be done. and i'm here writing this at 1:46 AM bc i couldn't NOT tell you lololol anyway yes i'm working on the reveals and the stops (i'm having issues with some missions but they'll be sorted out, dw) i hope you give this fic all the love you can!!!! <3 ily all thanks for always being there <3

07 JUNE, 2019 ㅡ okay so i closed FELIX with three forms!! thank you to everyone who applied, i'm so excited to start ejkrjfkd

ㅡ so this is a small competition briefing (just roughly!) there's a total of 315 days in the competition. the competitors will be making a total of 35 stops (or i'll try to make it that way), with a total of 6 days per stop. that's 2-3 days of leisure, 2-3 days for the mission and the last day to head back to the ship to leave port. so in total, there will be an estimated 210 days spent in different countries and 105 spent at sea, with an estimated 3 days to travel to each country. if a country finishes their mission within one day or so, they'll be given the pass to leave port earlier. however, (thanks to HALOHANS for this btw!) different countries will have missions worth different amounts of points. so in the end, it doesn't matter who crosses the finishing border first -- you could come in second and still take the cup home if you have the most amount of points! 

ㅡ i've already plotted the first two spots after many tears spilt and almost ripping my hair out bc oh god wHy IS tHE SPaCe bETweEN fINLaND aND sT PeTeRSbUrg sO smALL WiLL aLL tHE ShIps EvEn fiT  but its okay i got over it and pushed it into my mind that this is a freaking map. tag people if you haven't already!! ily all so much gosh my heart will EXPLODE

06 JUNE, 2019 ㅡ i've never had to update a notice board daily like this oh my god okay hi. so i closed NORTH ATLANTIC with three amazing forms !! if any of you were already making a form for them, PLEASE PLEASE tell me, i don't want anyone to feel excluded!! 

ㅡ how many stops should i plan? over a span of 315 days, i mean, how many countries do you think they should stop at? 

ㅡ i'll be splitting the story into countries separately, and 2-3 episodes per each! so please answer that question, ITS CRITICAL AND I DOWNLOADED GOOGLE EARTH JUST FOR THIS

(I'll be using KST since korea and mdv have only a 4hr difference, so its easier to calculate!) if you need extensions, though, don't be afraid to ask!! take your time <3
