Chapter 3 A Storms A Brewin

Me and Dick walk into mount justice at five in the morning. Bruce said we had to start training early. So I went to Dicks acrobat stuff and I did tons on flips and jumps. Robin was so amazed because one he hasn't seen me in three months and two he nor Bruce has taught me the jumps. Then Wally walked in and was also amazed.Then Wally and Robin start there normal training.

Then once we finish training we all walk into the kitchen. "Want to watch tv till nine" Robin says, I reply "sure". Wally agrees and I sit on the couch and do a bit of chanle surfing for about five minutes. Robin grabs the remote out of my hands once he realizes what I'm doing. "What I was just messing with you" I say sarcasticly.Robin just stares at me and says "sure you were and what would you do if I said you were just a shadow of the team". I shrug and say "fine by me I'm use to it".

Robin then starts to feel guilty, cause I can see it written all over is face. I then walk out of the room when Robin puts some stupid zombie movie on."Hi Zatanna watcha doin" I say as Zatanna walks past me. "I'm going to practice spells with Raven and train with her after wards" she says. I sigh and walk away knowing its some privet training they do. 

I walk back into the entertainment room and tell my brother I'm going for a walk. I leave mount justice and walk throught the woods to the beach. I pull my clothes off to reveal a black bikinni top with black boy-shorts as my bathingsuit. I dive into the clear water, it was a perfict day to swim because its warm out but its still cloudy.

I open my eyes under the water and swim towards the sea floor to take a seashell. It was black with a red tint to it and it was shaped like a cresent moon. Once I tuch it I knock on it and start to giggle a little."Is a little sea creature living in here" I say makeing sure I aint taking an animals home.After a second in silance I pick it up.The wasn't even a sigh of live that showed something onced inhabited the shell.

I swim up to the surface of the water with the tiny shell. I watch as the sun shines off of it and then I  hear laughing coming from the forest.Wally's laughter mixed with Dick's fits of giggles. Then they both emerge from the shadows of the trees.

I set the shell in the sand by my clothes. I hear Wally say "yea she is here I told you all girls like the beach except they usally sun tan not swim or whatever she is doing over here". I watch there heads glance my way as I dive into the water. I swim around looking for more shells I sing a little song I made up that is seriously so random not a single person will know why I even made the song. 

"I swim a little farther something awaits but it has to have some kind of bait and I like oreos so maybe I'll find both. I also like mac and cheese but I doubt I'll find mac and cheese under water.Unless I find a cave with a cafe in it and get a steak wrap like they have at mc donalds" I sing in my head.

I start laughing in my head only because of how childish that sounds. I hear a splash in the water and I swim back up to the surface. I see my brother and his best friend splashing each other with the water."Hey guys you having fun playing your kiddy games" I taunt. The both splash me with water and we start a splashing war.Then I dive under the water as my older brother trys to use me as a human shield.

I hear a huge crakleing noise from somewhat but it sounds faint with all the water in my ears. I swim back up to see storm clouds and its already raining. I quickly swim over to the two teenage heros. "Stop look" I shout as the splash me and I point to the sky. Lightning flashes and thunder bangs over head.I watch Wally and Dick's face turn from a smile to a frown real slowly. "Go to shore now!" Robin shouts shoveing me toward the sand. 

Insted over me moving I turn just to be pushed under the water by a wave. Wally pulls me back up and another wave crashes on my back. Robin realizes the waves are stronger then me and let me climb onto his back. He swims with Wally back to shore my arms warped around his sholder untill a massive wave hits my brother's back and he falls

The wave had so much force it pulled me off of his back and dragged under the water. I tryed my hardest to get back up put more waves came dragging me under and soon I couldn't breath, I blacked out. 

I wake up in mount justice and the boys and me were still soaked. But we were in the medical bay and they seemed worried. "What" I say totally confused, Wally spoke first " We didn't save you, a mermaid did. She pulled you up from the water unconsions and handed you over like she knew you". Then Robin says "she dived into the water without a word but she had sharp teeth and a dark green tail". I glance up and say "what color hair did she have and did she have any tattos or scars".

Wally replies "she had short brown hair with neon blue streaks, has a scar on her wrist and has a messed up looking 's' on her wrist also". I wisper "Meranda" in shock. Robin says "who is she and how do you know her". I frown and say "Meranda Lett is a water witch with some wacked up powers. She is a dark witch I went to school with, the 's' stands for revenge and she made a deal with a demon. She said she was in love with the demon but he is only helping her reach her full potential".

The two boys urge me two go on but thats all I really know about her. "We just gotta let her get revenge on whomever that is to be" I say more to myself then to them. They nod and Artimas walks in with three cokes. She give one to my brother and Wally. She has yet to notice that I've woken up. "I'm gonna change so I don't get the flu or something close to that" I say. Artimas glances at me as I walk out.

I go over to the couch where a book bag lays. I open it to reveal an extra pair of clothes. I walk into the bathroom and change into them. I look at myself in the full length mirro on the bathroom door. The black skirt and black tank-top make me look like I'm wearing a dress but I don't really care I glance at my face in the mirro. 

The corner or both my eyes had a scar going down it, must have happend today because it wasn't there last night. I shrug and walk out. Artimas seemed to have noticed the scars because when I walked in she was stareing at them. "Robin I'm heading home see ya later" I say. As soon as I turn the power goes out and I say "on the second though I'll just stay here". I really don't want to be in a mansion alone in the dark.

"Okay" Robin says unphased by the lights. I then sit on the couch looking at what Robins doing on his laptop. He was playing a video game called DayZ. I used to play that came on my laptop. I then look at the laptop again and realize thats my laptop.  I hit the powed button and it shuts off on him. He cries out angery and thwn tackels me to the ground.
