this chapter sucks but i needed a chapter that wasn't focused on the others. this is so boring feel free to skip because this doesn't really include anything important or whatever

"Poppy!"

"Delta!"

"Branch!"

"Guy!"

Trollex, Trollzart, Barb, and Smidge were standing in the forest, shouting out the missing trolls' names.

"When the others went searching for Branch and Biggie last time they did the exact same thing and almost d- well.." Smidge looked at Trollex, unsure of his "plan" to find the others.

"We're well prepared, don't worry!" Trollex gestured to the bag Trollzart carried and lead them on.

Trollzart held on to Barb's hair as he floated behind, his mind focused on something else, "I'm preparing for any scenario we could face. Wildfires that will melt your skin, predators that tear out your skin and leave you to bleed to death, poisonous berry consumption.."

Barb looked up at Trollzart and scoffed, "None of those things will happen."

"Eh, maybe they will." Smidge shrugged at her and joined Trollex in the front.

Barb stopped walking and slowly began to back up, "Uh- um- I-I think I'm gonna head back to TrollsTopia—"

"Nope." Trollex grabbed her hand and marched on, "You're Poppy's best friend and you know her better than us, you're crucial to finding them." He gave her a pat on the back.

Barb groaned and allowed Trollex to drag her like a toddler at a grocery store.

They walked for a half hour, with no signs of their friends at all, besides a piece of felt from Poppy's headband.

"If this wasn't a fanfiction, we probably would've found them by now." Barb groaned again and hit her head against a tree.

"Probably." Trollex sighed and flopped on to the ground, "Which direction should we head next?"

Trollzart pointed off in a random direction, "Over there looks promising?"

The direction he pointed was very heavy with leaves and bushes, very little light got through the thick canopy.

"What looks promising about that?" Smidge thought it looked like something out of a horror movie.

"Well.." Trollzart didn't exactly have a good answer to that question. It was just some gut instinct he had.

"Whatever, let's just go." Barb pulled Trollex back up and lead them towards the deeper part of the forest.

*insert dramatic chapter conclusion here*
