In the sandy-filled and dusty environment of Vacuo, a fight was going on at the Mirage with the Members of the Crown scouting out for powerful semblance users. 

However, from the outside, a man clad in white knight armour with a cape was slowly walking towards the Mirage menacingly, holding a bright yellow sword which was glowing in intensity as he walked.

He then raised his sword, which charged into a large beam of light shooting towards the sky, before he swung it down onto the Dust refinery. This made the dust refinery erupt into an explosion from the impact and killed everyone inside. He then left the area as a portal opened near him.

POV Switch: Ozpin

Location: Beacon Academy

In the prestigious Beacon Academy, Ozpin was busy signing away paperwork and extensive forms. He had been burying himself in paperwork ever since Jaune had disappeared for 1 year since the reveal of his fake transcripts, and in that 1 year, drama has unfolded between two sides in Beacon: The students who want to kill Jaune, and the other who supported him.

Among those who wanted him killed, punished or out were: Team CRDL, Weiss Schnee, Pyrrha Nikos and a few others who had connections to the Vale Council. The ones who supported him were Team CFVY, Ruby Rose, and the weaker students/faunuses whom he helped, with some support from the Arc Family, the Winterknight Clan and some parties/organisations whom Jaune helped in the past.

However, the Arc Clan could care less about Jaune and thus, outvoted the ones who didn't want to disown him; mainly Belize, Sephiria, Nicholas, Juniper, Vash Stryfe-Arc, Ei Baal-Arc, the members of Cerberus and his sisters. This caused a rift between the family and the clan to the point where it became a war between the two. The enemies of the Arc clan took this to their advantage by attacking them to weaken them further.

Whilst among all of this, Salem made her move, with a Grimm attack appearing in the middle of the City of Vale with Torchwick and the White Fang leading the attack. Fortunately, they were arrested by the Atlesian military before any more damage could be done, who was assisted by Team RBY (Rabid), CFVY and JNRR.

However, a voice from Glynda interrupted his train of thought as she entered his office.

Glynda: Headmaster, we've received a report from one of the Vacuan Huntsmen Guilsd about an abandoned dust refinery being destroyed just an hour ago. Theodore had begun investigations on the area as we speak.

However, Ozpin was spacing out at the moment, still recalling how Jaune was nearly kicked out of the academy and disappeared. Glynda could only sigh at the state that Ozpin was in.

Glynda: You were thinking about Mr Arc?

Ozpin: Yes, unfortunately. This wasn't the first time that I failed somebody, Glynda...

Glynda: I know, but this is too important to ignore...

She then showed him the picture of The Mirage, where the middle of the building had been demolished by something large. Burn marks were present all across the places, with charred corpses and half-alive huntsmen/huntresses in the area. This amount of devastation shocked Ozpin since he knew that such a weapon could only be achieved with the Relic of Destruction which could only mean one thing...

Salem has located the Summer Maiden and accessed the vault to gain the Sword of Destruction, or the Arc Clan found her and used it for their gain.

Ozpin: Glynda, was there any activity as of late from the Arc Clan?

Glynda: No, as of late, neither was there from her side either.

Ozpin: Was there anybody there when the dust refinery was destroyed?

Glynda: Unfortunately, no one was present, but people were warned to be on the lookout for anybody who could be suspected to be responsible for this.

Ozpin: I see. You are dismissed back to your class.

POV Switch: World of Terrisa
The Castle of the Solar King

In the training area of the Solar King, two figures were sparring with each other with swords. A girl in a white, sleeveless gi with a blue sword was swinging her blade gracefully while a man in white armour was swinging a blue crystal sword countered and parried her attacks.

They had been at this for the past 5 hours, with neither one of them backing down or tiring out anytime soon while a group of knights were witnessing the fight with interest.

Sword Girl: So, tired yet, Jack?

Jack: Never, nor once in an eternity, Swordmaster.

They were about to continue when the knight in white armour stopped their match as he teleported to the middle of the arena.

White knight: So, this was where you guys have been, but listen carefully. I need you both to go with Warliege and the SpecOps Triplets to raid the Branwen Camp immediately.

Jack: You know they're still pissed at me for letting Neptunia be a part of my harem?

White knight: Well, they just had to learn to get it over with anyways, plus, they're your girls to control, not mine nor is it my problem to handle it.

"Swordmaster": Wait, what problem?

Jack: Aren't you aware of the fact that they're still pissed at her for what she did?

"SwordMaster": What did she even do? Can't they just get it over with?

Jack: Nope, especially when she messed with their food by PUTTING IN LVE SEA CUCUMBERS!!!!

"Swordmaster": Oh... OH!! Did she-

Jack: Yup, she even has a photo of 'The incident."

"Swordmaster": Oh...

White Knight: Aside from that, Tiamat and a battalion of my knights will head to Menagerie and talk with the Belladonnas to dissolve the current White Fang and help in their expansion.

Jack: Are you sure that's wise, Jaune?

Jaune: I am.

Jack: Very well, but how about sending in Galahad or Gawain to accompany her?

Jaune: One of the knights? (Sighs) I'll see what I can do to convince Artoria...

POV Switch: Argus, Saphron's House

Saphron was busy caring for Adrian when a ring from her doorbell caught her attention.

Saphron: Coming... Who could it be at this hour?

She walked to the front door and open to find... Jaune was accompanied by a white-haired woman she was unfamiliar with.

Jaune: Well... Uhh... Hey Saph, is Adrian in there?

Saphron stayed rooted at the ground while examining Jaune and possibly his girlfriend for a moment when he snapped his fingers right in front of her.

Jaune: Hello, Remnant to Saphron, are you there?

Saphron: Quick, both of you. Inside, NOW.

They took a good look around understood the situation, and entered her house to avoid being spotted. She opened her window binds in her house while placing a device on the living room table to avoid being eavesdropped on. This device was invented by Jade personally for the Arc Family to avoid any eavesdroppers from listening to their conversations.

Saphron: Jaune, is that you...?

Jaune: Yes, it is me, Saph. So, how was Adrian doing?
