Y/n POV

After several packing my things for the academy, and putting on my hat and my Dynamax band, Megastone glove and z-ring, I then also grab my pokeballs but my Pokémon were outside in the garden, I then go downstairs to see grandma and Clavell with tea on hand.

Miriam : "Awe, look at you! You look so grown up, you remind me of your mother!"

She then comes and starts pinching my cheeks.

Y/n : "Ah! Grandma, knock it off!"

She stops, smiling.

Miriam : "What? Can I not be overjoyed that my daughter's son is going to Naranja Academy in style?"

Apparently the academy allowed student to wear normal clothes as long as I wear the school shirt, which I did. Clavell stood up.

Clavell : "Ah yes. The uniform of our storied academy suits you well, indeed."

Miriam : "Right?"

Clavell : "Master Y/n, I was also told by your mother that you would not need a starter Pokémon since you already have six, am I right?"

Y/n : "Yes that is correct, is that a problem?"

Clavell : "No it isn't, it means that younger students may get a chance to get one."

Y/n : "Well I'm fine with that, I already have three starters from three different regions, so I don't need another one, no offense."

Clavell : "It quite alright. Could you come outside for a second."

Y/n : "Yeah sure."

I then walk outside with Director Clavell, and he points to a house down the road.

Clavell : "I'll be at the house over there. Once your ready, come find me there. Now if you excuse me, till next we meet."

Y/n : "See you soon, I'll get my Pokémon from round back."

Clavell walks off to the house down the road. I smile.

Y/n : "He's a really nice man."

I then head round the house to see my pokemon there doing their own thing, Torterra was sleeping, Garchomp was laying in the sun wearing his scarf same with Charizard, Primarina was practicing her singing, Urshifu was training as always and finally Dragapult was on the roof of the house watching over all of them.

Y/n : "Hey guys."

They all look at me, while I place a hand on Garchomp's head and stroke him making him smile.

Y/n : "You all ready to go."

They all nod in agreement. They then all get into their pokeballs and walk into the house to say goodbye to grandma.

Y/n : "Grandma! I'm heading out!"

Miriam : "Alright! But before you leave, I have something for you."

She then took out a box. It had my mom's name on it.

Miriam : "This is from your mother. She mailed it to me a little while ago, and I was thinking of a good time to give it to you. Now seems like a great time."

I took the box. I wonder what it was. I opened it up to see a Rotom phone.

Y/n : "A Rotom phone?"

Miriam : "Yep. So you can keep in touch with me and your mother without having to come all the way back here. Your mom also put a bunch of helpful little app on there too. A map, a Pokedex, as required by the academy, and some little games to pass the time if you're ever bored."

Y/n : "Sweet."

I then put the turn on the Rotom and put it into my pocket. I smile at my Grandma and hug her goodbye and walk out of the house, and towards where Director Clavell.

Y/n : "See you later Grandma!"

I continue to walk down the road, and I see people wave at me and I wave at them. I then arrived at the the Director's house, I then see three Pokémon, that look to be the starters of the region. I then see the fire start also known Fuecoco run for a berry, but sneeze, burning the berry.

Then she appeared...

A hand then reached down to pet Fuecoco and he smiled. The hand went back up as I saw of what appeared to be another student, judging by their clothing. They turned round to reveal a girl with a black ponytail, and a single green bang on her left side. She had a tan skin color, and chocolate brown eyes. She actually looked very friendly with a smile on her face, and she even looked pretty as well.

Then I realized, she started walking towards me...
