"As a surprise we have thought of arranging a treasure hunt for you guys. The rules are very simple. There will be 2 teams, ladke waale and ladki waale. Both the teams will be given the same riddle,you'll have to solve it and get to the place where you'll find a golden rose and the duration will be of 2 hours.
Every day of the function you'll be given a riddle and till the day of the marriage whichever team collects the maximum roses will be the winner.
So are you all excited? "

Everyone shouted in a 'yes'.

Engagement

" Yaar Tanu get up, today is your engagement and you're still sleeping", complained Avni while waking her up.
Tanu got up with a jerk and ran into the bathroom.
"Overexcited ladki ", she shook her head helplessly.

Avni was busy looking at the decorations when her eyes landed on Neil who was looking dapper in the traditional attire.
She was staring at him for God knows how long. Sensing a strong gaze on him he turned in that direction and saw Avni looking at him.

Words were not enough to describe her ethereal beauty. Her dark eyes engulfed the love of the whole world in them.
His feet had a mind of their own when it came to her. He didn't know when he started moving towards her while his eyes never left hers.

Out of nowhere DD came in between, "Sirji come with me, Ali bhai is calling you", he said and took him away.

Avni didn't had the idea that why her heart started beating fast when he was approaching her.
But she wanted to talk to him, she wanted him to compliment her.

" Are you alright? " She asked raising an eyebrow.

" I saw everything," She heard him say.

"What? " She asked in confusion.

" That you and Neil.... "

" Pappu I have to go, " She didn't let him complete and ran from there.

As the rings got exchanged, the whole crowd cheered and applauded for the newly engaged couple.

Avni was busy adoring them when she sensed a presence beside her. She recognized this scent very well.

"In the morning I wanted to tell you something," he said.

"And what was that?" She asked him, fidgeting with her fingers.

He leaned closer and whispered, "You are looking breathtakingly gorgeous."

Avni didn't expect this coming . She was biting her inner cheeks to control herself from blushing.

"You are also no less looking than a Greek God," She winked at him.

"Hey Neil Avni what are you doing here? Come let's dance, " he said while dragging them with him.

Avni danced a little bit then stood in a corner. Her eyes were on Neil who was dancing with Neela ma.
He was doing some weird moves which made her laugh.

His lips automatically curved into a huge grin seeing her laughing wholeheartedly.

He walked towards her and pulled her towards him. She was feeling a tingling sensation on her skin because of his touch.

His hazel brown orbs boring in her doe shaped ones, not a perfect romantic scene but a subtle one.

He twirled her such that her back was facing him. She could smell his mint aftershave which was filling her nostrils, wanting her to get lost in him. This feeling was new for her but she was loving it.

They were completely lost in each other unaware of their surroundings.
Ali and Tanya were both smiling at each other cause they knew that their friends had finally found the love of their life.

" Sir wait for 5 minutes you'll get your pasta buy till them you can try our noodles, " he said trying to be a little persuasive.

" Nahi main toh pasta hi khaunga , " he whined.

" Pappu what are you doing here, "he heard Avni's voice and saw her walking towards him.

" You are eating since morning. The treasure hunt is going to start and you're in my team, understand? " She commanded.

"Aye Aye captain," he saluted her.

She was continuously blabbering of winning the game from Neil and DD who were in the other team while the waiter heaved a sigh of relief, pleased to get rid off the namoona.
