Ten Days have passed since Desmond took down Hammerhead and everything changed since the takedown. Rio Morales was proven innocent and was released from police custody. Hammerhead along with Kraven, Electro, Scorpion, Rhino, Sandman, Vulture and Chameleon were sent to the Raft to serve their sentence. Sliver Sable on the other hand managed to escape New York before she can even make it to the Raft.

Desmond on the other hand hasn't been doing good since the takedown. Ever since Otto told him that he was dead to them, He got kicked out of his house and staying by Scarlett's fortune telling shop. He also stopped talking to Gionna and her friends since the incident. He felt sad and alone but he was gonna make a decision today, A Decision that would change everything.

Desmond was holding a bag as he exited the shop as he saw civilians cheering for Rio Morales on the Large TV Screen in front of them as he watched the conference.

Rio: Thank you all for the love and support. As you can see, Justice has won again and with Hammerhead gone. I'll make sure New York will never face another threat like this. You can all sleep easy knowing that we are here to protect you all.

The Crowd began cheering loud as Desmond was gonna walk away until he heard something from Rio.

Rio: I also want to say something to Spider Man. Thank you for being our light to this dark world. Without your help, Hammerhead could have became the new mayor and would cause Carnage and chaos. Spider Man, Remember we are all here for you.

Desmond listened to those words as he heard the crowd chanting "Spider Man" as he saw more civilians carrying signs like "We love you Spider Man" and "Thank you for risking your life to make New York a better place".

Desmond had a smile on his face but his smile immediately faded away as he sighed to himself until he received a text message from Scarlett.

Scarlett: Desmond, Liv and her friends are the airport, They're gonna leave New York.

Desmond put his phone back in his pocket as he called for a taxi as he told the driver to get him to the airport. As The Taxi continues to make it's way to the Hospital, Desmond was looking at the city until he remembered Otto's words.

(You killed her! You took Rosie away from me!)

(From now on, You are dead to us. I dont ever want to see you again.)

(And If you try to visit Rosie, I will kill you! NOW GO!!!!)

Desmond clutched his fist in anger as the taxi driver told him that they reached the airport as Desmond paid him and exited the car. Ketch entered the airport as he looked around until he saw Gionna as her eyes met his eyes.

Gionna kept staring at Desmond until tears began falling from her eyes as her friends checked on her until they saw Desmond.

Gionna: So now you remember me after ignoring me for ten days.

Desmond was quiet as he noticed the group staring at him as Desmond also noticed Priscilla giving a smile as he looked back at Gionna.

Gionna: Why do you keep lying to me Desmond? Why is Otto lying to me? Did I do something wrong to you.

Desmond: No. . . . . .

Gionna couldnt help but cry even more as Desmond closed his eyes in anger as she continued speaking to him.

Gionna: Desmond please, Tell me what's the matter with you? You know I'm always there for you.

(Just Tell Her Desmond. For the love of God, Just tell her the truth. Don't make this any worse)

(Gionna is all that you got left.)

Desmond was silent as Gionna was staring at him as she got angry and looked at him in the eye as she said something.

Gionna: Okay. . . . If it's a personal matter then I understand but I want you to be honest about something.

Desmond looked at her as Gionna said something that shocked him.

Gionna: Do you love me?

Desmond didn't know how to respond as he kept quiet as he began having thoughts.

(Just Say I Love You To Her!)

Gionna: You know ever since I first met you, My heart started beating faster. I feel happier when I'm around you. You were always so special to me and you mean the whole world for me.

Desmond closed his eyes as Gionna touched both his hands as they both looked at each other.

Gionna: So tell me Desmond, Do you love me?

(Dammit Desmond, Stop hiding your feeling about her.)

(She is your world.)

Gionna: Desmond answer me. Do you love me?

Desmond:. . . . . . . .

Gionna: Desmond. . . . Please tell me.

Desmond. . . . . . .

Gionna: Please. . . . Answer me, Do you love me?

Desmond: No. . . . . .

Gionna felt her heart break as her friends were shocked as Desmond looked at her.

Desmond: I don't love you. . . . . .

Gionna felt like crying as Desmond closed his eyes in anger as Liv slapped him in the face as She grabbed him by his collar and looked at him.

Gionna: I HATE YOU DESMOND!!!

Liv began punching him in his chest as the others hold her back as Gionna and the others heard their flight announcement as Gionna looked at him one last time before she said something to him.

Gionna: I wish I never met you! I hate you Desmond!

Her Friends gave Desmond death stares except Michelle who looked at him with a sad look as they all left to board their flight as a tear felt from his eye as he left the airport.

Fifteen Minutes Later( The Docks)

Daniel and Scarlett saw Desmond holding a bag as they walked towards him and spoke to him.

Scarlett: Desmond, You can't do this.

Desmond: I have too, I can't take this anymore.

Daniel: Desmond-

Desmond: No! I don't want to cause anymore pain.

Scarlett: So your gonna give up being Spider Man?

Desmond: Yes. . . . . .

Daniel: Desmond, Listen to me. New York needs you, They need a hero to be their light.

Desmond: Too Bad nobody told me that being a superhero is an impossible game to win or the ones that are closest to me would always suffer the most. Some will hold a grudge against me and some who tried to give me so much only to lose everything.

Daniel and Scarlett were silent as they wanted to speak to him but Desmond continued talking.

Desmond: I don't want to cause anymore pain, I can't live with that burden anymore.

Scarlett: Desmond-

Desmond: So Its time for me to say Goodbye Spider Man.

Ketch was holding the bag with the spider man suit inside it as he closed his eyes and then threw it on the sea.

Daniel and Scarlett were silent as They went back to the car as Desmond continued looking at the sun setting down as he looked at his reflection on the water.

Desmond walked away as he left the docks and began walking through the streets of New York as he sighed to himself again before he pulled his phone out of his pocket and looked at the picture of Liv as he said something to himself.

Desmond: I love you Liv and I'm sorry for everything.

I understand that everyone is shocked by the ending and are wondering that is this the real ending?

Truth to be told, This is the real ending to The Spider. Desmond feeling guilty after Rosie is in a coma made him realise that if he continues being Spider man then the ones closest to him would always suffer so this is why he quit being Spider Man.

Now If you wondering why can't Desmond tell her the truth. Well Even if Desmond says "I love you to Gionna". Priscilla still holds a grudge against him and he's worried that because of her grudge against him. He might create a rift between Gionna and Priscilla.

Now The Last thing I want to say is that There will be a Spider 2 coming out and it will take place two years after the events of the first book.

Once again I'm sorry if your shocked by the ending to Spider.
