Galaxyskitter is content to wait it out in the tree, heart racing in his chest. Thankfully, the infected moved away, but he's pretty sure he injured his paw worse.

Kestrelpaw has recovered from his sprained paw!

Smokepaw and Kestrelpaw sneak out of camp in the middle of the night to explore the areas of territory they aren't allowed to go to alone. They watch with wide eyes from the bushes as an infected cat stumbles around, jaw half hanging off and missing a leg.

The infected cat notices them pretty quickly, and Smokepaw jumps into action, slashing at its face and chest and giving the pair time to run away as it stumbles. The bitter taste of blood lingers in his mouth. +5 respect to Smokepaw

After a firm lecture and promises of tick duty from their mentors, Starlingtrill looks them both over. They deduce Smokepaw ingested blood from the infected, but they're almost certain that Smokepaw will be fine and isn't infected. They choose to keep him in their den under observation for a moon just in case (-1 energy this moon).

Wingpaw is 4 moons overdue for graduation. He still needs 2 fighting, 3 tracking and 2 leadership to become a warrior.

Sunkit has become an apprentice! Her name is now Sunpaw and she will be mentored by Volcanoheart. She gets a +1 in leadership as that was her mentor's highest stat at time of apprenticeship.
