"Oh come on guys! I can't believe you," the tabby cat meowed, bringing everyone's attention onto her. Holding her head high, the feline continued, "When I got my claws caught in the curtains, who pulled me down?" Before anyone could answer the question, she stated, "Max did. Buddy, Mel." Gazing down at the two dogs that had remained, she asked them, "When you were fixed, who taught you to sit the comfortable way?"

"Max did," the dachshund answered. Spinning around in circles, the pug yipped, "Max did! Max did, he did it!" Everyone looked at him like he was an idiot. Meanwhile, Tiberius noticed that Gidget's tail was wagging a little faster with everything the tabby was saying. He was also catching a weird yet delicious scent but he couldn't tell where. Lifting her eyes towards the ceiling, the cat questioned, "And when that random cat tried to eat Sweetpea, who saved him?"

"It wasn't a random cat, it was you!" the dachshund barked. The parakeet, presumably Sweetpea, let out a sharp chirp from where he was perched on the pug's head. Waving her paw to dismiss the claim, the tabby cat went on, "The identity of the random cat is not the point. We're talking about who saved him!"

"Max did!" the pug cried, jumping up into the air. Sweetpea chirped and whistled excitedly while the dachshund exclaimed, "We gotta save him! We gotta go save Max!" The three cheered while Gidget's tail wagged harder and the tabby looked on with a bored look on her face. Tiberius's attention was somewhere else though when he noticed that the scent was growing stronger. At that exact moment, a guinea pig burst out of an air vent in the floor and cried, interrupting the others' cheers, "Yeah! Let's go save Max!" He raised his paw in the air while everyone looked at him. Confusion quickly drained the excitement from his face as the rodent asked, "Uh, which one is Max again?"

Unable to hold back his hunger any longer, Tiberius swooped down and caught the guinea pig in his talons. The pets scattered while the old hawk flew over to the couch and landed on the back of it. Gazing hungrily at the guinea pig he had, he slowly opened his mouth, ready to eat the rodent. Giggling, the small rodent didn't seem to understand the situation as he held his paws out like he wanted to be eaten or something. Before he could enjoy his tasty snack though, the hawk was quickly shouted at by Gidget, "Tiberius... NO! BAD BAD BIRD!"

Still clutching the guinea pig in his talons, Tiberius quickly came up with a plan. Chuckling to himself quietly, he gently patted the guinea pig with his wing as he remarked, "Nice little guy. Nice little guy..." His pats were still going and a little hard. The rodent didn't seem to notice as he giggled, "I like this bird! Crazy bird!" Pausing his laughing, he looked the hawk in the eye as he asked, "Do you want my phone number?" Shocked, the old hawk released his hold, letting the guinea pig drop down safely onto the couch. He shuddered slightly while Gidget breathed a sigh of relief and the dachshund scooped up the guinea pig. Looking over at the Pomeranian, the cat muttered, "Not gonna eat anyone, right?"

"We're working on it. Anyways, all we know is that Max has been taken to the sewers," Gidget explained, adding on a question, "So does anyone here know how to navigate those?" Watching the others as they looked around at each other, Tiberius could tell that none of them did. Meanwhile, the guinea pig handed him a piece of paper with his phone number and email address. Once the rodent looked away, the hawk tossed it over his shoulder. Gidget sighed heavily when she noticed that no one seemed to know. That is until the dachshund stepped forward.

"I don't know the sewers," the dachshund admitted, "But I think I know someone who can help us."
