Next morning, Sid woke up and saw Avu sleeping peacefully. He remembered the last night and his grip over her tightened. He kissed her forhead and kept one hand on his cheek and started caressing it with his thumb. He kissed her cheek.

Sid: I love you

He got up from bed and did his daily chores. He came out and sat on bed and was staring at his princess with a smile and playing with her hair. Suddenly his phone rang. He picked up the call.

Sid: Hi

....

Sid: Is he alright?

....

Sid: Ok I will bring her

....

Sid: Ya in an hour

....

Sid: Thank you so much. Bye

He kept his phone and went to wake Avu. She was not waking up as usual.

Sid: You wanna go to meet your dad?

Avu slightly opened her eyes and nodded.

Sid: Then quickly get up and get ready

Avu: Ok

She got ready. They did their breakfast.

Sid: Priyu I will leave her in school after meeting her dad. Can you pick her in the afternoon?

Pri: Sure bhai

Sid: Let's go princess

They went outside and sat in car. Sid started driving. He stopped the car.

Sid: Come

Avu: This is not my home

Sid: Umm ya actually when you came with me, he was alone so came here

Sid's P.O.V.

2 days after Avu came with me, his health started worsening, so I shifted him to hospital. Today morning, one of the doctors called me and told his condition is very critical. He wants see Avu for one last time. So I brought her here. God why you doing this to her? You took her mom at such a small age and gave her such a big problem to handle. And now her dad is on death bed. How will she be able to see him such a condition? How will she bear such a big lose? Why are you doing this to her? She has never done anything bad, never thought bad of anyone.

P.O.V. ended

Sid held Avu's hand and took her inside. As soon as, they entered her dad's room, they saw wires attatched to his whole body. Avu couldn't understand anything. She looked at Sid.

Sid: Come

He made her sit beside AD's bed and stood behind her. He opened his eyes and tears formed in his eyes seeing her.

Avu: Dad why are you crying?

AD: I am so happy to see you. That's why

Avu: Oh

He held her hand.

AD: How are princess?

Avu: Good

AD: How is your new home?

Avu: It is sooooo big

Extending her arms.

AD: Did you trouble anyone?

Avu: No I am a good baby. I don't trouble anyone

Sid kept hands on her shoulders.

Sid: Yes very good baby. Best baby

Avu looks at him and smiles. AD smiles at them with teary eyes.

He talked with them for sometime.

AD: Princess promise you will never trouble anyone ever. You will listen to Sid

Avu: I always do. But why are you saying this

AD: N..n..nothing I just wanted to

Avu: Ok

Sid: Should we leave now?

AD: I wanna talk to you Sid

Sid: Ya uncle say

He looked at Avu. Sid understood.

Sid: Princess can you wait for me outside. Don't go anywhere ok?

Avu nodded like an obedient child. Sid made her sit on a bench outside the room.

Sid: I am coming in 5 minutes. Ok baby?

Avu: Ok

Sid went back.

Sid: Yes uncle?

AD:.....
