At night, Avu was sitting in Sid's room (Sidneet's room). Sid came. He looked at her sighed sadly. He sat beside her. He was looking at his lap, fiddling his fingers.

Avu: Sidoo

He snapped his head towards her.

Sid: Hmm?

Avu: Why didn't you took me to meet dad today?

His eyes filled with tears, a lump formed in his throat. But he somehow controlled himself and pulled her in lap and took both her hands in his. He took a deep breath.

Sid: Avni do you know from where we all come from? I mean we come as a baby na. So where a baby comes from?

Avu: Umm once I asked dad and he told babies come from God

Sid: Yes and after sometime baby grows up and God calls him/her back

Avu: Oh

Sid: So God also called your dad

Avu: Umm why?

Sid: Because God wanted to

Avu: So how will I meet him?

Sid looked down controlling his tears. Avu cupped his face.

Avu: Tell na

Sid thought for a moment.

Sid: You can meet him

Avu: Sachi?

Sid smiled weakly and nodded.

Avu: Where?

Sid: Come

He picked her up in arms and took her in balcony.

Avu: Where is dad?

Sid: Wait I will show

He pointed towards the sky.

Sid: You know when God calls someone back, they become stars

(How many of you believe this?)

Avu: So that means dad became a star?

Sid nodded.

Avu: Mom?

Sid: She also

Avu: So can they see me? Can they hear me?

Sid nodded and cupped her face.

Sid: Yes they will always see you. They will hear you. They will be there with you forever. So you will always be a good baby. Never cry. Ok princess? Or they will get sad. They never liked you crying na bacha?

Avu shooked her head. She looked up.

Avu: Mom dad your princess loves you. Always keep seeing me. I know you will be happy. I promise ai will never trouble Siddoo as you sad dad. I will always study properly

Sid was in tears by now. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and interwined his fingers with hers. She kept her head on his shoulder. He kissed her hair.

Bright stars and two people standing under it in each other's embtace lost in the moment. Just perfect. Someone was watching them from inside.
