Many years ago, when the Great Beings left Bara Magna as the War of the Core began to reach it's peek, they created two brothers

Mata Nui, who had the powers of Life and Creation, the Yang of the two
Makuta, who has the powers of Death and Destruction, the Yin of the two
An older brother and his younger brother
The two balanced each other out as they were titled the Great Spirits to the Matoran of Metru Nui

Using their powers, they gave the Matoran the necessities to thrive
As Mata Nui also created seven Toa as his children, the Toa Mata of eldest to youngest, Gali, Onua, Kopaka, Tahu, Takanuva, Pohatu and Lewa

While Makuta created his sons, his sons being his first creations and with his abilities weren't the best for creation given they were worm like creatures and his seven Rahkshi, before he created his last son with Mata Nui and his successor Emiku's help of a shadow variant to the Toa elements named Umarak

The brother's both had their virtues who would be their successorMata Nui had a young Mask Maker by the name Ekimu
As Makuta had a young mutated and corrupt being by the name Miserix

But of one day, Miserix betrayed the brothers and Ekimu
Believing in only death and destruction to those incompetent of existing of his mentors abilities creating the Brotherhood of Makuta

When the brother's discovered this, it was to late
Miserix forced the two of their physical bodies into their masks, to their luck, Umarak came to their rescue, grabbing the Mask of Life and Mask of Control and fleeing to Ekimu and the Toa Mata while holding the Brotherhood off with his bow and various arrows Makuta had created for him long ago

Upon reaching them, he was killed by one of the Brotherhood members Sidorak, dying in Tahu's arms as Ekimu placed the masks into the very entity that the Matoran resided in as home, the Toa soon following to the island that had formed in their pods, Takanuva and Ekimu holding off the brotherhood until Ekimu forced Takanuva into a pod different than his brother's and sister pods, but in return separating him from his mask The Mask of Light and referring him into a Matoran form with amnesia of who he was only remembering his nickname from Lewa as his name, Takua

Ekimu was sadly killed as he sent the Mask of Light in a Toa stone

Years later, Teradax, the new leader of the Brotherhood of Makuta took the chance before he was defeated by the returned Takanuva to release a virus in the entity, trapping the Matoran and all under the Brotherhood's control, before the Toa Mata now Toa Mata-Nuva and the Toa Ignika set free the masks of Life and Control

The two masks with the brothers souls bounded to them flew through the endless abyss of space, their masks being their only hopes to save their people

And then, find themselves of the now barren wasteland planet their creators The Great Beings abandoned many years agoBara MagnaHome to the Agori and the Glatorian, the origins of the Matoran and Toa

The story of two brothers on their own in a new world their creators had abandoned long ago

"Alright I get it." Metus said as Makuta stood next to Mata Nui incase he needed to hold his brother back of what he was picturing was going to be said next, "Soon enough you'll be begging me for you to take you back." He said, 'Big mistake dude.' Makuta thought as the three watched as Mata Nui raised his battle mask and growled while leaning to Metus face, Makuta holding his brother's arm incase he jumped the poor Agori, his brother's temper was bad when aggravated which was hard to do.

Metus seemed to take the hint finally as he backed up while holding his hands up, "That was a joke," he said as he backed up to leave the room, "You'd never beg." Metus said as he left the room, 'Damn straight. And brother is far from being straight.' Makuta thought to himself with a grin.

Metus peeked his head back in the room, "I'm going now." And with that the ice Agori left. The three males of Mata Nui, Makuta and Ackar began to laugh as Mata Nui lowered his battle mask of the Mask of Life down, Makuta could've sworn he heard even the Scarabax Beetle on his brother's shoulder laughing as well.
