Zarin was sleeping when her mother came to wake her up for fajr salah

Zarin: Ammi, please five more minutes, I'll wake after five minutes!

She snuggled more into her pillow and covered herself with blanket. Her mother Rehana snatched the blanket from her.

Rehana: Wake up zarin, it's getting late for salah, this is becoming your daily routine, ammi five more minutes, ammi five more minutes!

She mimicked her voice and turns off the AC.

Zarin: Ok I'm up!

She wakes up groggily and went to washroom to freshen up.

After completing her Salah, she read Quran for sometime.

When she reached downstairs for breakfast, her family was already there munching on their Parathas, a maid is serving them breakfast!

Zarin: Assalamualaikum

Haroon: Walaikumassalm zarin, come start your breakfast, or else the parathas will get cold!

Rehana: You should tell your dear daughter to sleep early at night so that she can wake up early in the morning

Zarin chokes on her food and tarannum smirks at her, she glared at her!

Haroon: Zarin, what I'm hearing? Is it true that you stay awake till late night? And may i know the reason?

Tarannum: Abbu, ofcourse it's her mobile!

Haroon: Using mobile till late night is not good for your eyes and health Zarin!

Zarin: Ok abbu, I'll take care of it

Haroon: Ok listen you all, we have guests this evening, and rehana make arrangements for that!

Tarannum: But abbu, who are the guests?

Haroon: It's Uncle Rizwan and his family!

Tarannum: It means that little munchkin Hamza will also come. I'm so excited to play with him!

Rehana: Ok don't worry, I'll make sure everything will be perfect.

Zarin: By the way abbu, why did you invited them so suddenly, is something special?

Haroon: Can't i invite my friend to our house?

Zarin: Umm sorry abbu, i just asked..

Haroon finsihed his breakfast, after wiping his mouth from serviette, he patted zarin's head lovingly

Haroon: I was joking zarin, and you will know the reason at evening. Now it's getting late, i have to go, Allah hafiz!

Haroon left for his office and here zarin glared at Taranuum

Zarin: Don't you use your mobile Tarannum?

Tarannum: Didi, i too use mobile phone, but i won't stay awake till late night!

Zarin: yeah yeah whatever, ammi i have extra class today, so I'll be late!

Rehana: Ok but try to come soon

Zarin: Ok ammi, Allah hafiz!

The continuous beeping of alarm wakes up Arslan, he groggily moves to washroom for his daily chores. After getting ready he went to masjid for fajr salah along with his father and brother

After the salah, when the time they reached their house, the maids are setting the dining table for breakfast. Ayeza came with hamaza in her arms.

Ayeza: Assalamualaikum

They all replied to her salam and make themselves at dining table for breakfast. Soon Afreen khanam joined them.

Rizwan and Afreen had a heated argument related to Arslan

Rizwan: We all are invited for dinner at Siddiqui's.

Afreen: Rizwan did you talk with Arslan!

Rizwan: No, thanks for reminding me, and beta Arslan come to my study after breakfast

Arslan: Ji abbu (Ok father)

Rizwan Taimoor was pacing back and forth in the study, when arslan came there

Rizwan: Arslan first sit down, and listen to me very carefully

Arslan nods his head and asks him to continue

Rizwan: As i said, we are invited for dinner at Siddiqui's, and you know very well that, me and haroon are good friends and we decided to change this friendship into relationship by wedding you and his daughter Zarin. And i discussed this matter with your mother but she disapproved with my thoughts.

Arslan: But dad why did mom objected this relation?

Rizwan: She !wants you to marry her niece Saniya

Arslan: No way dad, I can't marry that saniya, she always annoys me with her useless battering. And i don't find the qualities in her which i wish to see in my wife!

Rizwan: I told your mom that you won't like Saniya but she insisted me to ask you about saniya first. Now tell me, what do you think about zarin, are you ready to marry her?

Arslan: It's a yes from me dad, but did you asked her consent!

Rizwan: Haroon told me that he will ask his daughter at this evening, but he is confident that she will gonna say 'yes'. But how do you agreed instantly when i said "Zarin"

Arslan: Da...dad, i.. it's just i saw Zarin some times, and she is modest, well natured and I'm sure she will be perfect for me!

Rizwan: Ok as you say, so see you soon

Arslan: Yeah dad, Allah hafiz

At evening: Siddiqui's Mansion

Siddiqui's mansion was beautiful made of moroccan architecture with high ceilings and traditional crystal chandeliers.

Rehana is busy in the kitchen along with servants in preparing dishes for the dinner. Zarin came exhausted from her classes and directly goes towards her room for a nap

Her mother wakes her up for maghrib salah and told her to get ready fast as guests could be arrived soon

After sometime, Rizwan Taimoor and his family arrived. They were welcomed by Haroon and Rehana. Rehana asked the helpers to bring refreshments for the guests. When they were busy in chatting, Zarin and Tarannum came there and said their salams.

Tarannum took Hamza from Ayeza's lap

Tarannum: Ayeza Bhabhi, let's go to my room, i want to spend some time with this little munchkin

She pinched lighlty on Hamza's bubbly cheeks. When Zarin was about to go with them, Haroon asked her to sit with them. She got bored with their talks and started reading a magazine. When she feels like someone is gawking at her, she looks here and there and found Arslan looking at her, she asks what, by arching her eyebrow at him, he just smiled at her, his smile made somersault in her stomach and a little blush appeared on her cheeks. Arslan noticed this and smirks at her

After dinner they all settled themselves in the backyard, Zarin has served desserts to everyone.

Haroon: So, i think almost all of you know the reason behind this get-together.

Everyone knows about it except Zarin and Tarannum. Confusion is clearly seen in their eyes

Haroon: Zarin beta, first listen to me carefully, ok.

Zarin nods in response and looks at Tarannum who shrugs in response

Haroon: So the thing is, i and your Rizwan uncle decided to get you and Arslan marry with each other. I'm not pressuring you my kid, it's upon you whether you want to say yes or not!

Zarin was flabbergasted with this news, now she understands the reason behind Arslan's smile. She understands that everyone knows about this proposal except her and Tarannum. She came out of her thoughts when her mother called her

Rehana: Zarin, tell us your answer, do you want some time to think about it?

Zarin: Ammi abbu, do you both are happy with this?

Haroon: We are happy my child, but it's not about our happiness, it's about your life and your happiness!

Zarin: Abbu, I'm ok with your consent. If it's a yes from you then it's a yes from me too!

The whole Mansion echoes with mubarak(congratulations)they distributed sweets and gifts to their helpers. Tarannum is on cloud nine, as it was her sister's wedding, and she had to shop a lot.

Among all these kerfuffle, Zarin glanced towards Arslan who is also looking towards her. Her eyes widened when he caught her stealing glances at him. Tarannum and Ayeza are giggling among themselves by seeing these love birds.

They decided that their engagement will be done soon and the wedding will take place by the end of this year as Zarin has to complete her studies.

Soon Taimoor's left for their house, but not before Arslan taking Zarin's number from Tarannum.

Today's is the day of their engagement, Zarin got ready in a beautiful turquoise lehenga embedded with beautiful gold pearls and sequins work on it.The ladies put a red chunri on her head. She looks elegant and gorgeous.

Tarannum:Sister, you're looking so lovely, I'm sure brother in law will definitely gonna lost his sense after seeing you, what say girls?

(Didi aap toh bohat pyaari dikh rahi ho, jiju ke toh hosh udh jayenge, kya kehte ho ladkiyon)

They all started teasing her, just then Rehana came there to take Zarin.

Their engagement had to be done in a traditional manner where Arslan's mom will do the rituals of engagement and Arslan doens't have to do anything. He came there with his family and he is sitting among his friends and cousins.

When Arslan saw Zarin, he was astonished to see her, it was getting difficult for him to keep his eyes off from her. Though he have zarin's number he didn't called her. But now, he wants to talk to her. But in all these hustle bustle it's impossible for him to talk with zarin and he thought it will look inappropriate too if he chat with her infront of the whole guests before the wedding.

Zarin's mom and her aunts made her sit on the beautifully decorated couch.
A helper came there with the tray of Engagement ring decorated with rose petals. Afreen Khanam slides the ring in zarin's fragile finger, as the whole area echoes with the huge round of applause.

After the ceremony, the ladies took away zarin to her room.

Danish: So, someone is getting impatient to talk to his bride. huh

Arslan: Yes bro, i didn't talk to her, not even one time

He huffs in annyoance, danish puts his hand on Arslan's shoulder

Danish: Patience bro, patience, she will be your's soon, till then enjoy your bachleor life!

Soon they were joined by their cousins and friends!
