Guy: Alright and we're recording!

He says, holding up the camera to face them.

Girl: Nice.

Simon: Hello to viewers old and new! My name is Simon,

Simone: And my name is Simone!

Both: And welcome to "The Terrifying Twin Tapes!"

Simon: We like to hunt monsters, so we record ourselves doing it for your entertainment!

Simone: Today, we're explor-ING.

She trips over something, catching herself.

Simon: Y-You good?

Simone: Y-Yeah. Hehe. Today we're exploring something unique! Compared to normal that is.

Simon: Okay. So like, we were looking into the history of nearby towns and we found something VERY very interesting. An abandoned... CASTLE!

Simone: So like, apparently it was abandoned decades ago! This place was built in like, the thirteen hundreds! Maybe even earlier!

Simon: Very little is known about it, aside from the day it was abandoned. The owner over the years was unknown and is undocumented.

Simone: From what we found, some time in the sixteen hundreds, after the local town was destroyed by a storm, the townsfolk demanded to share the shelter!

She put on an exaggerated narrator voice.

Simone: But those who went in, never ever came out!

She giggled.

Simon: Yeah! It had been abandoned since, so we're just going to find it now.

Simon flips the camera around to show small, damaged structures covered in plants.

Simon: And here we are! The village known as... what was it called again?

Simone: المطهر اليائس (yayis almutahar).

Simon: Yeah, that.

Simone: No one has been here since way back when. No idea why! Monster hunting aside it's kinda weird right? Like. History nerds, explorers, homeless people, so many people would love to see this!

Simon: yeah! Well, we both have our go-pro's.

Simone: Yup- oh. Should I have been recording all of this?

Simon: Nah. It's fine. When we go in though, multiple view points will be handy.

The girl put on an exaggerated voice.

Simone: Handy for what!?

Simon chuckles.

Simon: Well, the few villagers who didn't go in recalled strange sounds and shapes coming from within. And! Well, even if we find nothing then we still get to say we're the first ones here.

They stop walking and Simon points the camera at a large gate.

Simon: And here we are!

Both stand in silence.

Simone:... how should we get in?

Simon: Well. We should probably climb since the vines have essentially pinned the gate shut. You got the bag?

Simone:...

Simon:... you for-

Simone: -I forgot again.

Simon: Well let's go back then!

Simone: yeah, yeah.

They start walking back in silence.

Simon:... This place feels familiar.

Simone: Yeah... I feel that too.

Simon: I've never heard about it but like... have we drove past it or...?

Simone: The road is practically gone. We definitely haven't. And I can't think of any other reason...

They got to the car, Simone popping the trunk and getting out a duffel bag.

Simon: Maybe we've just hung around too many abandoned places?

Simone: Maybe...

Now, they were walking back towards the gate.

Simon: We're back!

Simone holds up a large duffel bag.

Simone: With our bag!

Simon: Now, we're gonna head inside of this place!

He says excitedly as they keep walking.

Simon: Then we'll cut when we get there.

Simone: yeah...

They walk still.

Simone:... but never this abandoned.

Simon:... w-w-we can worry about this later.

Simone:... okay...

Simone put down the bag and got out some climbing rope.

Simone: we just need to get this over...

She starts swinging it around before throwing it over the gate successfully.

Simone: First try!

Simon: Nice!

She grabs the other end or the rope, wrapping the ends together and tying them to the bottom of the gate.

Simon; Ok. I'll go first then!

He climbs the rope and after a bit of struggle, got over. He got up on his feet and brushed himself off.

Simon: Okay. Toss the stuff over.

Simone: Okie doki. Let's hope I don't miss.

Simon: Same for me.

Simone: Alley... Oop!

She threw the duffel bag over, Simon catching it.

Simon: Okay, now you!

Simone: I got it, I got it.

She grabs onto the rope, pulling herself up it and to the top of the gate. She climbs over and stuck her landing.

Simone: phew, okay!

She undid the rope and packed it up before Simon put the duffel bag over his shoulder. They turn to face the property. Tall trees, shrub, grass and other plants blocking everything off.

Simone: We scouted this place out yesterday so lucky for us, we brooooouuuuught...

She reached into the bag held by her brother.

Simone:... aha!

She pulls out a hack saw.

Simone: A saw!

Simon: Alrighty then. Are we ready?

Simone: Born ready!

Simon: Where's your Go-Pro?

Simone froze, quickly looking through the bag until she pulls out her Go-Pro.

Simone: Now, I'm born ready!

Both sibblings laugh.

Simon: Ok...

He turns his camera around to face him.

Simon: Let's go gang!
