Tara's POV

We walked silently down the gazillion flight of stairs, all absorbed in our own train of thoughts. Heck, I would have fallen down the stairs, if Luna hadn't supported me.

Soon enough, we reached Mrs greens office, God knows why she called us. I knocked on the door and I heard a shrill scream which usually means "COME IN!"

I entered her office which looked a lot like Umbridge's when she was the DADA teacher. Like pink walls,cats, dark brown cupboards, even more cats. Should I go on?

There she was signing some of her never-ending paperwork. We entered and she clicked her pen,looking up at us.

"Ah well girls, I have some good news for you both." " The Twilight crew died In a car crash? " Luna excitedly butted in (so sorry twihards) earning her a glare from a bunch of girls who were biggg Twilight fans from outside the door. "No,-" "awwww" " but, you've been adopted!"

"Wow, yay!" I added sarcastically. This prank has been played on us far too many times for us to fall for it. " No really" wait we are! Well yayyyyy. A place to live. Nice food,I hope better than the orphanage, why should I argue ? Meanwhile Luna was hyperventilating. She always wanted to get adopted, so I guess, kudos to her. "By whom?" Luna squeaked " Chris" who was now doing jazz hands with a goofy grin.

"So girls,get your stuff quickly and come downstairs" we both got up at the same time and jogged out of the door.

"What" was all that I could say as I packed all my belongings which were - a badge, a book, a dress and a heart-shaped locket which I wore currently and clothes. Luna more or less had the same things and we both shared an album with the picture of our childhood.

I stuffed all of this inside one mouldy handbag and waited for Luna who was as slow as a snail.

Once she finished, I ran down the stairs and strutted over to chris all boss-like when I Jennifer Lawrenced halfway. Yep and I must have said that out loud because both Chris and Luna were laughing. I guess I'm going to like it at Chris's house.
