Jung Hoseok was never good at hiding his feelings. What he held in his heart always reflected on his face.

And what reflected on  his face somehow reflected on everything about and around him.
Heck! Even on random people around him and the weather!
This time was no different.

The usually smoothly running train was extra bumpy today.
People were cranky and the weather wasn't any better. It was snowing extra heavy and as usual the weather forecasting was inaccurate.

His phone kept on ringing.
But that was ignored too just like the old lady who looked at him expectantly to be a respectful young man and give up his seat for her like he usually does, her little poodle who yearned for the usual attention from him as it pulled at his pants, the mother who apologized to him on behalf of her little daughter who had accidentally spilled her drink on him and the numbing pain somewhere around his chest.

He seemed to snap out of his trance once he saw a familiar board and got up with his duffel bag as the train halted to a stop and walked out without care as he bumped into random strangers and tripped over something too, all the while holding his breath.

He claims that he held his breath for around ten minutes, until he reached his little apartment. But again... we all know that it was just a claim as he was well and alive (except for the cordolium)and because it's Jung Hoseok who believes that the world is out to get him even if a little thing goes wrong.

After dumping his bag on the floor carelessly he wandered inside his loft just to do something rouge, only to come back when his perfectionist self didn't let him enter the kitchen without putting his bag in the right place.

Sighing loudly after a deep intake of breath, he picked up the bag and left it in it's usual place, closing his eyes for a brief moment at the ephemeral feeling of relief at the deep sigh.

He tried it again.

Felt good.

And so did it again, as his legs carried him to the bathroom and his hands automatically stripped him of his clothes and opened the shower. Sadly that was a bad move as the water that rolled down his nose got sucked inside leaving him uncomfortable throughout the 'Should-have-been comfortable' shower.

He got out with a heavy heart, still trying to comprehend the day's incidents but his brain seems to shut down.

And so, with an 'almost familiar' pang in his chest he went to bed, switching his sides before finally drifting off to sleep.
