Riya's POV
I was placing some books on my study table when Ommy came in my bedroom.

"Betho na" I said. He nodded and sat on a couch.

"Aaj mon vrat hai?" I asked.

"Nhi to" He said.

"To kucch bol kyu nhi rahe?" I asked.

"Ohh, woh to bas ese hi" He said.

"Accha me chalta hu" He said.

"Arey..." I said but he was already out of the room.

How weird he is sometimes.

But there is something in him that attracts me.

Ommy's POV
"Sumedh...!!!" I said hugging Sumedh.

"Ab kya hua?" He asked.

"Mujhse nhi ho paega, meri taraf se tu usko bol de" I said.

He rolled his eyes.

"Bhai tu uske room me gaya, waha betha, do baate ki, aur wapas aa gaya? Main baat kie bina? Sharam aati hai tujhe bhai bulane me!! Shrupnakha ki naak Laxman ne kaati thi, meri tune kaat di!" He said.

"Yaar...tujhe naak ki padi hai?" I asked.

"Bhai please koi jugaad laga na" I said holding his hand.

"Yeh chichore kaan mere saath nhi, no no no" He said taking his hand back.

"Dekh, life partner usne teri ban'na hai, to zaheer si baat hai propose bhi tu hi karega" He said, "me zada se zada mahol bana sakta hu"

"Kesa mahol?" I asked.

He thought for some moments.

"Tum dono aaj dinner k baad kahi bahar chale jao...usko...haan, usko ice cream khilane le ja" He suggested.

"Ice cream? Aditi the villain jaane deghi?" I asked making a poker face.

"Usko me sambhaal lunga" He replied.

"Pakka?" I asked.

He nodded.

"Cool, to aaj pizza k baad ice cream aur uske saath propose" I said confidently.

"Haan mere Bhai, haan! Jung jeet k aana!!" He said. I chuckled and nodded.

Sumedh's POV
Dinner was almost over.

Ommy gave me a nudge. I nodded.

"A...Aditi, woh Riya ko ice cream khaani hai" I said. Aditi looked towards me and then Riya.

"Mujhe?? Ice cream...??" Riya said confused.

"Haan!! Pagli tune hi to kaha tha...okay shush tumhe kaha kucch yaad rehta hai" I said. "Ommy isko le jaega...to yeh dono jaa sakte hai?" I quickly asked Aditi.

"Kal jo hua uske baad inko bahar bhej du? Pagal hu kya me?" She asked.

"Aditi please bhej do na. Ommy hai na, please" I said signing towards Riya and Ommy.

She finally understood and agreed.

Riya's POV
"Yehi beth jaate hai" Ommy said. I nodded. We sat in a park.

Ohkay.

Awkward silence.
I hate those moments when you are just sitting and you don't know what to say or how to start a conversation.

"Riya...actually, Sumedh ko mene hi kaha tha k woh Aditi ko manae" Ommy said breaking the silence.

"Haan I know, dekha mene" I said with a smile.

"Nhi actually me tumse...akele...akele me baat krna chahta tha" He said.

"Akele me? Kyu, kya hua?" I asked with a serious face.

"Look, me baat ko zada ghumana nhi chahta. Police officer hu shayaar nhi, to seedha point pe aata hu: I love you, will you marry me?" He asked all of a sudden.

Me face became red. I didn't look at him. He was looking at me, waiting for an answer.

I simply didn't know how to react on that. It was so unexpected.

I liked him a lot...and...I loved him too...

"Riya?" He called. "Look, koi jaldi nhi hai, take your time. Reject krna chahti ho to it's ok, tumhare decision ki respect krunga me" He said.

I smiled and finally looked at him.

"Ese propose to sab krte hai kucch alag kro" I said standing up.

"Alag? Matlab?" He asked.

"On your knees..." I said. He smiled and followed my order.

"Now say: Mere dil ki Mallika Riya, mujhse shaadi krne k lie maan jao, me tumhe hamesha khush rakhunga aur shopping k lie leke jaya krunga. Tumhari har wish poori karunga...c'mon" I said folding my arms.

He chuckled and repeated what I said.

We kept quiet.

He cocked his eyebrow.

"Naah, mujhe kucch khaas nhi laga" I said walking away.

"Helloww???" He asked standing up.

"Kucch aur try krna, filhaal chalo" I said and walked towards the car.

He followed me.

"Mujhe paani puri khani hai" I said taking advantage of the situation.

"Fine" He said like a good boy.

"Bhaiya two plates" Ommy said.

I ate the paani puri in my plate.

"Ek aur" I said. I ate that one as well.

"Bas abhi, aur pese nhi mere paas" Ommy said.

"Abhi pese khatam? Shaadi k baad kya hoga? Mene nhi krni tumse shaadi!" I said and walked towards the car.

I was about to sit in the car when he held my elbow and turned me towards him.
He wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Yeh...yeh kya badtameezi hai?" I asked.

"Badtameezi nhi hai, propose krne ka khaas tareeka hai" He replied.

I lowered my lashes. How embarassing was that!!! He was so close!!!

"Ommy...chodo" I simply said.

"Pehle bolo haan ya naa?" He asked.

"Chodo" I said.

"Haan ya naa?" He asked.

"Haan" I finally said. An ear to ear smile came on his face. He left me and I sat in the car.

He sat on the driver's seat.

"Ommy" I called. He hummed.

"Thenga!!! Koi haan-vaan nhi hai!" I said.

He widened his mouth.

"Riya ki bacchi!!!" He said holding my hands.

"Accha kidding kidding" I said chuckling.

Sumedh's POV
It was midnight.

"Ommy kaha hai yaar...pta nhi kya hua hoga..." I thought nervously.

I unlocked my phone and opened instagram. Ommy posted a photo.

It was his and Riya's selfie.

"Mr and honewali Mrs Patel" The caption said.

Damn!!!!! Finally man!

Haahhh, so happy for them!

"Pta nhi kaha ghoom raha hoga. Yaha me avai tension me tha!" I thought.

I saw a Aditi's comment on his post.

"Congrats" It said. I clicked on her name and saw her profile.

"12th!?" I said as I read her birthday date.

"Woh to kal hai...nhi aaj, 12 baj chuke...arey waah! Aaj Addu ka bday hai!" I said.

"Iske lie kucch plan krta hu" I said and texted everyone in our team.

"Addu, be ready for the party!!" I thought.

The next morning everyone woke up a bit early to discuss our plan for Aditi's birthday party.

She was still in her bedroom.

"Guys itni subhah kyu uthaya??" Ommy asked.

"Bhaad me jaa. Raatko selfies post krta rehta hai, subhah uthna nhi. Terese acchi to Riya hai" I said.

He rubbed his eyes and sat with us.

We started whispering.

"Party rakhte hai, par sirf ham log" Siddharth said.

"Haan, bahar se naa kisiko jaante hai aur naa Ma'am ko accha lagega" Meenakshi said.

"Point hai" I said.

"Meri maano to choti si party kr lete hai" Riya said, "cake laenghe, aur simple si decorations" She finished.

Ommy rested his head on Riya's shoulder.

Can't believe it! I slapped him.

He woke up with a jerk.

"Uth!" I said. "Ham sab yede hai kya jo plans bana rahe hai? Help kr hamari!!"

"Hmm, bolo kya krna hai" He asked in a sleepy voice.

"Mera sar krna hai! Jaa bhai tu jaake soja" I said.

He went. "Saala chaala bhi gaya" I said in disbelief.

"Chodo" Riya said, "accha to tum cake order krdo, ham baaki sab sambhaal lenghe" She said looking towards Siddharth and Meenakshi.

"Cool!!" I said. We stood up to leave as it was time for breakfast.

"Arey haan" I said, "daaru mat bhoolna"

They chuckled.

"Nhi bhoolenghe" Siddharth said.

Aditi's POV
We were in my office.

"Guys kal Friday hai. According to Aarushi kal hi Haji Ali Dargah pe Adderall drugs ki deal hone wali hai so plan bna lete hai" I said. They nodded.

"Siddharth aur Meenakshi, tum dono Ommy k saath rahoge. Dargah k andar rehna aur waha nazar rakhna. Kucch..." I said and stopped.

"Guys kya baat hai? Dhyaan nhi de rhe" I asked.

"Nhi kucch nhi" Ommy said.

"Kucch to hai. Baar baar ek dusre ko dekh rhe ho? Kucch problem hai kya? Plan galat hai?" I asked.

"Nhi nhi, ham to bas wese hi..." Siddharth said.

I looked at Sumedh.

"Tumne koi kaand kia hai kya?" I asked him.

"Arey yaar, tumhari sui mujhpe aake kyu atak jaati hai?" He asked.

"Kyunki poori team me tumhare kaam hi wese hote hai" I replied.

He rolled his eyes.

"Coming back to the plan"I said, "tum teeno andar rahoge aur waha se report kroghe. Kuch bhi galat dikhe ya kisi pe shakk ho to mujhe btana" I said.

They nodded.

"And you!" I said looking at Sumedh, "tum mere saath bahar rahoge. Waha ham dono sab pe nazar rakhenghe" I said.

He nodded.

"To sab clear hai?" I asked.

"Yes!" They said in unision.

"Good" I said.

"You may leave now" I ordered.

They left.

Sumedh's POV
"Shakki hai bandi" I said. They chuckled.

"Cake ka order de dia?" Meenakshi asked.

"Aaye hayee, meri Meenu, cake ki badi tension hai?" I said pulling her cheeks. She chuckled.

"Cake order kr dia hai, 7 baje lene jaana hai" I said.
