Siddharth's POV
I finally reached Police Headquarters. I directly went to the third floor,  to ACP Aditi's cabin.

I saw a young lady in khaki, reading a file. I knocked the door.

"Come in" She said without looking at me.

I went in a saluted her. She looked up and nodded.

"Inspector Siddharth reporting Ma'am!" I said firmly. She nodded and asked me to sit.

"May I come in Ma'am?" I sweet voice asked. I turned to see the owner of that voice.

A gorgeous and fit officer was standing at the door. She came in and saluted.

"Sub-inspector Meenakshi reporting Ma'am!!" She said. Ma'am nodded and asked her to sit.

"So, Siddharth and Meenakshi, welcome to the team. Baaki officers se mil lo" She said. We stood up, saluted her and left the cabin.

"Meenakshi, pehle suna nhi tumhare bareme" I said to Meenakshi.

"Yeah, abhi nei hu" She replied.

"Ohh...great! Maza aaega saathme kaam krke fir to" I said. She smiled and nodded.

Such a cute smile she has. Sumedh came to me running.

"Eehh Siddharth!!!!!!!" He shouted and hugged me tightly.

"Sumedh..." I said breaking the hug. We looked at Ma'am's office. She gave us a 'seriously!?' look.

Sumedh chuckled. Ommy also greeted me. Meenakshi introduced herself and they welcomed her in the team.

Sumedh showed me my desk, which was opposite Meenakshi's desk and at the right of his desk.

I sat to read a pile of files that Ma'am gave me. I slightly looked at Meenakshi.

"Sidd case no. 427 ki file tere paas hai kya?" Sumedh asked. I looked at him.

"Haan? Kya? 4...haan...woh..." I said and started looking at the files.

He took a chair and sat next to me.

"Yaha bas me hi hu jisko abhi takk pyaar nhi hua. Matlab Ommy aur Riya, fir tu aur Meenakshi..." He said.

I made a poker face.

"Esa kucch nhi hai. Woh hamari junior hai to hamara farz banta hai k uska khayal rakhe" I said.

"Right! Usko 20 mins taarne se khayal rakkha jaata hai, great!!" He said.

I bit my lower lip. "20 kab hue?" I asked.

He cocked his eyebrow. "Okk whatever" I said.

It was time for lunch.

We went to Ma'am and asked if she wanted to join us.

"Tum log jao, me yahi lunch kr lunghi" She replied. We left.

"Kitni khadoos hai yaar" I said. "Esa mat bol, tum dono ka to takka fit hai, meri nazar isi pe hai" Sumedh replied.

We chuckled.

"Me Riya ko leke aata hu, yahi wait krna" Ommy said.

"Oooooo" We teased him. He rolled his eyes and went to call her.

We finally left for the canteen. We sat to have lunch.

Sumedh gave me a nudge and winked at me. He was definetely going to do something.

"Riya Ommy Patel" He said. Both Riya and Ommy looked at him and their faces became red. Me and Meenakshi controlled our laughter.

"I meant Riya aur Ommy Patel..." He said. Ommy rolled his eyes and Riya sighed.

"...shaam ka kya plan hai?" He asked.

"Shaam ka? Shaam ka kya plan hoga...kucch nhi hai" Ommy replied.

"Mera bhi...Aditi k saath ghar pe dinner bas" Riya said.

"Oh tum dono saathme rehti ho?" Sumedh asked surprisingly.

Riya nodded.

"Ohh...Riya tumhari saheli pe nazar hai meri, khabar deti rehna mujhe uski" Sumedh said with a wink. We all laughed on his lame joke.
