There was a knock on the front door and I went to open it. I was immediately wrapped in a hug.

''Oh, Skylor, sweetie, I missed you!'' Misako said and then we separated. After that I greeted the prep team, then went back to Misako. ''Oh! Did you hear about Lloyd?'' she asked me.

My heart skipped a beat? ''What happened to Lloyd?'' I asked, concern lacing my voice.

''Oh! He's one of the best designers in the Capitol now!'' she explained. ''And you, dear, are his muse!''

''That's nice,'' I said with a small smile.

''It is,'' familiar voice said and I turned to them to see no other than the blonde designer himself.

''Lloyd!'' I exclaimed and jumped on a hug. He returned it

''Hey! How have you been?'' he asked.

I heard someone call me from behind. ''Skylor?'' we all turned around to see Amber standing there with her cat.

''Oh, Skylor,'' Misako said softly. ''Is that your sister?'' she asked.

''Yes,'' I answered.

''Oh sweetie!'' she said and walked up to Amber, along with the prep team, leaving me alone with Lloyd.

''How are you feeling?'' he asked, putting a hand on my shoulder.

''Fine,'' I said, even though I was far from it.

''That's good,'' Lloyd said, but I feel like he knew I was lying. ''We should start working,'' he said and I nodded.

''It's time!'' Misako announced around an hour later, pushing the prep team away from me. The styled my hair and painted what's left of my nails, since I've been biting them a lot. I was wearing a thick coat and put on my hunting boots. ''It's time to feed the beast!'' Misako said and led me outside.

We stood in front of the door, Misako holding the handle. ''You're excited, smiling and most importantly, in love,'' she instructed me. I nodded, understanding, then she opened the door, while I put on a big and fake smile.

''There she is! Skylor Chen, the girl on fire!'' I heard Dareth's voice said as I was looking at the camera, which was staring right at me.

I just kept smiling and walked down the stairs.

''And there is Kai Smith, the Ninja!'' Dareth said.

After the Ninjago Games, people started calling Kai 'The Ninja', because he can sneak around and his choice of weaponry was Katana.

The two of us walked towards each other and just before we stopped, I slipped on the ice and fell on top of him. We laughed, playing it off for the camera.

''Oh oh, trouble in Paradise,'' Dareth joked. Oh, believe me, we're far from Paradise.

I was laying on top of Kai, staring at his lips. ''I hope they're alright,'' I heard Dareth say, but I ignored him.

I don't know if it was for the camera or not, but I leaned in and kissed Kai full on the lips, in front of everyone. He didn't pull away.

''Ah, um, anyone at home?'' Dareth said and I pulled away, lookin away from him. ''Should we come back later?'' he asked.

I put on the big fake smile and started standing up, Kai rising as well. ''Sorry, Dareth,'' I said, giggling at the end.

''No, please, it's alright.'' Dareth said. ''It's your day.'' he added an waited for us to stand properly. ''So,'' he spoke once we were settled. ''How is it going?'' Dareth asked.

''We're good,'' Kai said, a smile on his face as he held onto me and I was snuggling up to his side. I knew he wanted to get this done and over with as soon as possible.

''That's it? That's all we get?'' Dareth asked. Yes, now let us go already! I yelled in my mind, knowing that if I said it out loud there's probably gonna be a public execution. ''Kai! Give me some details!'' Dareth said.

I looked at Kai, the fake smile still on my face, expecting his answer as well. ''Things....uh...things are great here in twelve.'' Kai answered, keeping his fake smile as well.

I felt like I should say something as well. ''Thanks to the generosity of the Capitol, we've never been closer,'' I said, looking at the camera.

''Yeah, 25 yards, to be exact,'' Kai said, in a slightly annoyed tone, if you ask me.

Dareth laughed like he heard the finniest thing ever, I laughed because I didn't have a choice.

''Fantastic! We'll be checking in with the both of you throughout the victory tour,'' Dareth said. ''Thank you so much, Skylor Chen and Kai Smith!'' he said and Kai and I waved at the cameras as they zoomed out of us, then turned off. Once we were sure the cameras are inactive, Kai and I let go of each other, stepping five steps apart.

''Wonderful!'' Misako exclaimed. ''Everybody in motion! We have to be there in ten!'' she announced.

''That was nice acting,'' Kai said, fumbling with his fingers.

''You too,'' I said.

''Yeah, maybe because a big part of it was real,'' Kai said, trying to make me feel bad.

When I didn't say anything back he walked away. I stood there as Misako yelled commands to the others.

I'm not feeling guilty because I may not share the same feelings, I told myself, then walked back to my house.

I'm so sorry for not updating for so long I just had a lot of school work and writers block so yeah. I will try my best to start updating again.
