"Life is like a rainbow..
Isn't it?"

The little girl asked me.
A smile spread across her cheek.

"I'm afraid it's not, dear"
I thought I'd tell her.

But her big blue eyes were too innocent,
And her heart too fragile to be broken.

"It isn't a rainbow, I'd say.
It's more like the clouds, you see?"

I replied.
Her smile wavered, but again she smiled.

I knew she imagined the bright fluffy cotton candies floating in the sky,
Her mind was just too beautiful to think of the dark stormy nights!
