Requested by SomeonesSenpai!

I like the sound of your request, so I took it in!

Like I always do, I add some twists, but don't worry, I never change the entire plot.

I hope you like it, senpai! >ω<

Kekeke~

(Btw, I'm sticking to Kayano, because I'm used to it ._.

And sorry if this is kinda short.)

{I had to screenshot and crop the pic above, but this image isn't mine.}

~ Kayano's POV ~

Meet me at the back of the school, at 7:00 pm.

- Nagisa

Slowly, I put the sticky note down and looked at my surroundings. Currently in my living room, I stood in surprise.

What is that boy trying to do?

I guess he must've slipped this note into my school bag when I wasn't looking...

But seriously. What's there to do in that place?

I was concerned, and maybe a little frightened, but nonetheless, I was still going.

I guess it won't hurt to go.

Absent-minded, I plumped down on my couch, not really wanting to do anything. Korosensei had us run laps around the school for P.E.

I was exhausted.

After what seemed like minutes of chilling and resting, I picked myself up to dress into something casual. I kinda just threw on a thin wool long-sleeved shirt, black tights, and my boots. I fixed my hair into a somewhat messy bun.

I'm sure Nagisa won't mind if I wear something like this.

Between Nagisa and I, we were cool with each other and we were considered friends, which I didn't mind. But those shippers *cough cough* Karma and Nakamura *cough* are unintelligent twits who don't know what they're doing. Kinda.

It's not like the class would consider us a pair.

Opening the front door, I walked out, the thoughts still swirling around in my head.

But then again...

Deciding to shrug it off, I walked onto the dirt path, the one that I took to school in the morning, but right about now, it was dark, but not so dark. Stars were glistening in the sky, making it a little easier to see.

Dang...I never knew there were a lot of stars. Shining so bright without a care in the world.

I took a right, onto a more rocky path. But the grass beside it had some pretty lilacs.

I sighed. I didn't really know what I was getting into, and I had no idea what Nagisa's doing.

Then why'd you come? I asked myself.

I dunno, really.

"It's not like I have anything else to do," I reasoned with myself out loud.

I exhaled sharply in the crisp air of the night, the crescent moon nearly coming into view.

Every minute, I felt my eyes just drop a little more. I was getting a little weary. Granted, I go to sleep at 9:30...

Finally, I saw the school up ahead. I gulped silently.

I swear, something seems off about this. Maybe we should turn back. Screw this, Nagisa's a serial killer and he wants my life, let's go back—

"No, I'm going, and you're liking it!" I said, out loud, once again.

Well, crap.

"Ugh, let's just get this over with..." I groaned, wearisome.

As I turned to the back, I froze like a deer in headlights. I had neutral feelings about what I saw. Crickets chirped and the wind blew as I stared mainly at the bluenette.

"Oh, Kayano, you're here." He smiled bluntly.

"Yeah, so, um..." I bit my lip and inspected every object in the area.

Tent, campfire, table, two chairs, candles, and...no knifes? Phew.

It didn't change the fact that I was a little bewildered. The pot of spaghetti on the table was getting me worried.

×~×~×~×

"You, want me, to have dinner together?" I used hand gestures, pointing first at him, then me, and then both of us.

"Yeah, if you put it that way..." He fiddled with his fingers.

I glared at him, not convinced enough.

"I'm sleepy though," I said, getting ready to turn back.

"Please?"

He gave me the puppy eyes. He whimpered as I threw him a sympathetic look.

B-But...

"Oh...fine." I gave in, walking towards him. I took a seat on the chair, facing him.

He had a cheerful expression on his face.

Is he really that happy?

"I made some spaghetti...is it fine if we share?" He brought up a plate of it, with meatballs and all that.

"S-Share?" I repeated.

He nodded, blushing a tiny bit.

Crap. I'm in a tight situation. What happens if we...

There's nothing we can do about it...

"Okay, okay. I'm having the first bite then." I picked up the cold, metal spoon.

I twirled a bundle of the spaghetti and stuffed it in my mouth in a straightforward manner. I chewed, my taste buds tingling a bit.

This isn't half bad.

Nagisa imitated my move, and we ate in the silence of the evening. I didn't bother to make conversation — the spaghetti was what I focused on.

I was slurping up a singular noodle, and, well, it happened to be the one Nagisa was also slurping up.

So, a few seconds passed, and we got close.

I felt my cheeks getting hotter by the minute. We were getting super close...

I...I can't do this!

The noodle snapped, thankfully. I bit off my part.

I glanced at him. He looked kinda embarrassed, and, at the same time...disappointed.

Is he sad?

I shook my head and itched the back of my neck. I looked down, feeling a little bad, until he spoke up.

"S-So, Kayano...I heard you aced your math test yesterday."

"U-Uh, thanks. To be honest, it was a little easy."

"Hehe. Can't believe it's September already. Everything's still green, I don't really get it..."

"True, true. The temperature isn't going down either."

"Despite the fact that it is a little cold tonight, but yeah. The stars are bright, aren't they?" I exhaled into the air, while looking up, making a puff of fog.

He brought his head towards the sky, the shine reflecting off his eyes.

"It really is..."

"You chose a good day to bring me out here, haha." I playfully nudged his arm.

"Hey, I know what I'm doing," he said, nudging me back.

I was warming up to him almost immediately. I felt much more comfortable now, bringing up subjects that were safe to talk about.

Yet there was one question I really wanted to know the answer to.

"Hey, Nagisa..."

"Yeah?" He asked, ready for anything.

"Why'd you bring me here?" I blurted out while squeezing my eyes shut. There was no response for a second, so I opened one eye.

"I don't really know. I chose to camp here because I heard that the stars are beautiful during this time of the year. So maybe I just needed someone to look at them with."

I blinked once, no, twice.

"If anything, this seems like a date."

My heart stopped.

What did I just say?!

Shoot, what is he going to reply? Oh, I'm so dumb. Stupid girl...

"Is there anything wrong with it?"

"Well..."

There was more silence. It was the empty kind of silence.

"Kayano."

I pouted, not paying much attention.

I'm a complete idiot, oh my gosh...

"Just kiss me."

I felt as if there was no weight on my shoulders.

"Huh?" I asked fearfully.

And suddenly, I was pulled by my shirt towards him, our lips making contact. I clenched my fists. I wanted to fight it. His eyes were closed, and I couldn't pull away.

I loosened my fists, batted my eyelids, and closed them shut. I could do nothing. I let my armor down and gave in. I felt my hand go up to his shoulder, without exactly realizing it.

I might've been... enjoying it, actually.

I wasn't supposed to, but I did anyway.

I felt like I should curse myself for doing so, but it's not like it's forbidden.

After what seemed like sunset after sunset, he let go. I was breathing heavily and was wanting fresh air fast. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand.

"Sorry, I just..."

"No, I see what you...mean..."

I sneaked in one more quick kiss on his lips, because I wanted that everlasting touch.

"K-Kayano..." He blushed as I beamed.

"Nagisa. I don't think I could go home this late, so...mind if I sleep with you?"

"No, not at all..."

It was as if I was invincible. I did what I wanted, I wasn't holding back.

"Will you gaze at the stars with me?" I held out a hand, standing up on the grass.

He grinned as he grabbed it.

"Of course, Kayano."
