For some reason people really love pairing me with those that I travel with, besides me being 10?, 11?, 12? YEARS OLD(even I'm not sure anymore). So despite all the shippers, I can only end up with one.

Ash aside, I have a few more disclaimers to add so the description isn't too long.

1. I'm American, so my interpretations may not be entirely accurate.

2. I didn't write Pokémon, so I can't give you a definitive answer to who is meant for Ash. This is a theory after all.

3. I'm claiming that Ash isn't gay. Sorry, but I can't conclude anything on his interactions with other male characters.

4. I'm only counting major female characters and companions. It would make a lot more sense to pair Ash with someone that has a lot of time to develop a relationship with as opposed to someone who showed up for two episodes and left.

5. I'm a guy. Let's face it, girls are confusing. So I am bound to read them wrong at least once.
