Lucy's POV

I follow Makarov. "Where are we going?" I ask. "To our base." "Base?" "You sure like asking questions." I turn red. "O-Only because I don't know anything of what's going on." "Hm. That's true. When we get there, I shall have someone explain." "Ok." We walk into a forest. I shiver but don't comment on it. Then Makarov claps his hands together and starts glowing. I squeak and hug my arms together. Then a small cabin appears out of the ground. It was only ten feet wide and ten feet long. Probably fifteen feet tall. "Down here child." He opens the cabin and inside was stairs. Literally that's it. Stairs. "O-Ok" I follow him down the stairs then the cabin door shuts. I squeak but continue to follow him. We reach the bottom and see a door. As I step off the last step, the stairs then lower into the floor, probably the cabin going into the ground again. "Follow me and don't get lost."

I follow Makarov into a room full of people. I continue to follow him until someone grabs my arm. I squeak and jump, Makarov stopping and looking back at me. "Natsu! Let her go!" "She smells funny gramps!" I look at the guy. Pink hair with onyx colored eyes. He had a scar on his cheek and was wearing a white scarf. I open my mouth but then his eyes change color. His eyes are now green and mine change into a bright blue color. Natsu lets me go, seeming shocked, and I quickly walk behind Makarov. We start walking. "What was that? My eyes changed colors! And so did his!" He strokes his beard. "I don't know. This has never happened except four hundred years ago." I open my mouth but we walk into an office. I close my mouth as he sits in a chair. "Sit child" I sit in the chair in front of the desk. I play with my fingers as he gets some papers out.

"What's your name child?" "Lucy..." "Last name?" "Fireheart" He looks up at me. "Fireheart?" I nod. "It's Fireheart. Why do you seem shocked?" "It's nothing. Now how old are you?" "Eighteen." "Parents?" I open my mouth then close it then frown. "My mother...died when I was five...My father committed suicide a bit after." Makarov looks at me shocked then clears his throat. "Who is your guardian then?" "Gildarts. Gildarts Clive. Him and his daughter take care of me." Makarov's jaw drops then clears his throat. "What?" I tilt my head. "Nothing. Now... have any talents, hobbies, etc.?" I tap my chin. "I like star gazing, I'm a bookworm, smartest kid in high school...Um...I'm good at baking and cooking" "Interesting. Favorite color?" "Pink" "Anything else worth mentioning?" "Um...I have a blue cat and...I have a medical condition." "Medical condition?" I nod. "If I don't take my pill, my heart will stop and l faint. I only had my heart stop a few times and when my heart does stop, I feel extremely energized like my body is trying to do something but my heart rejects it." "I shall have one of our doctors look at you. See if we can help with anything." "Ok" "Now to get you started."

Makarov's POV

I announced that Lucy is a new member and now she's going around learning about everyone. "Who is she?" I hear a voice next to me. "Natsu, all will be revealed later. Why? You have a crush?" "It's not that gramps! Why did our eyes change color? Why did I feel like that?" "Feel like what?" I look up at him. He crosses his arms. "Like I knew her before..." I sigh. He did know her before but you won't hear that from me. I pat his leg. "Just go meet her and see if anything comes up." "Fine" He groans. Maybe she can change Natsu for the better. He used to be so kind and cheerful. Now all he does is snap at people and sulk. I really hope Lucy can change him to the way he used to be.
