Going roun' & roun' ;
I notice the hills.

The birds chirping, foggy climate, the Lush greenery
And the smeared sky,
All living in harmony with each other.

As we go for our destination, round and round we realise how beautiful our surroundings are.
The pines and mountain alined,
The cold weather giving
Us chills.

As soon as you enter the land of hills ;
It feels as if you entered the land of gods -- full of tranquility.

A world so quiet, so divergent from all The noisy chaos.
A world full of Himalayas and wild Nature.
A world full of untouched air.

Staying hills, make you feel closer Gods.
The nature at its best ; untouched and Wild,
Paints a beautiful pictures for the
Painter's eye.

Hills are better than the hectic -ness Of the city,
The tranquility makes you ponder &
Embrace yourself.
You forget everything for a moment .

Staying in city - you're always on the
Edge, always on the go.
The mind is never at rest ; always
Buzzing like a bee.

When it pours,
The sound of rain hitting the roof and
Trickiling like little rivulets -
Makes you wonder and write like an
Old Era poet.

The thing about hills that captivates
My heart is that you never feel lonely. Your heart is at rest, everything feels
Okay and right.
You find your courage, your solace,
Your silence.
It's comforting.
You feel like a free bird flying away in
The painted clouds.

Being around the hills,
It feels like the world's got your back.
The nature is your friend,
And you are it's appreciater.

(Written in Shimla, April 2017)

This is another draft that I caught my eye. I had written this in April 2017 when I was a rookie at poetry. I had written this on the beauty of Shimla, a hillstation in India during a school trip.
I haven't changed this poem a lot, only changed the imagery and made the verses a little better.
