I am walking through Sydney International airport and I see a jewellery store on the right side of where I'm walking. I enter the tore and look around. I come across a beautiful engagement ring that I think Joy would like.

The ring sparkles and right next to the ring is a necklace for a baby girl.

When the cashier walks over to me I point to the jewellery. "I would like to see those two."

She open the draw and pulls out the ring and necklace.

I take the ring out of the box and look at it. I look under the ring and see a section where I can get an engraving placed inside. I put the ring back in the box and I have a closer look at the necklace. "I'll take them both."

The woman behind the counter wraps up the necklace and ring and she places it in a bag. I pay the items and exit the store. I continue to walk around. I buy a few items for Lauren and then I make my way to the boarding.

When I get there the gate is closed. I walk over to the woman. "I need to get on that plane."

She shakes her head. "I'm sorry, Sir. The flight is about to leave."

Shit! I can't believe I missed my flight home to my girls.

I sit on a chair and place my head in my  hands.

Someone sits across from me. The person clears there throat. "I thought that was you, buddy."

I look up to see my Best Mate sitting across from me. "What are you going here, Chad?"

He smiles. "I had some business to take care of. What about you?"

"Same, I just missed my flight."

Chad looks at the gate. "Why the hell would you want to fly like a normal person? We have money to use private planes."

I look at the ground. "I wanted to see what it felt like to fly like a normal person. But, it doesn't feel that much different then flying in your own plane. Plus I didn't want to fly alone."

Chad nods. "I don't like flying alone. But, I do when I have to. You can come back to Los Angeles with me."

"Thanks."

Chad and I walk through the airport and we stop at a private entrance. Customs officers search our bags before we enter the room. After our bags are cleared we make our way to the private plane.
