Marinette has no idea what is about to happen. She believes her life is over because her boyfriend, Nathaniel dumped her.  She was with him for three years and thought he was going to propose.  She can not believe how wrong she was about the whole thing.

         "Agh, I can not believe I wasted so much of my life with him," Marinette screams at the top of her lungs.

      Her roommate Tikki gives her a funny look.  "Marinette, he is not worth it,"  Tikki says.

    "Tikki, you do not understand," Marinette wails.

     "Oh, I understand alright, I understand that you went out with him thinking he was this great guy, well guess what Marinette he was not, so get over him,"  Tikki spats out.

        "Tikki, it is not that easy," Marinette argues.

        "Sure it is Marinette, you just have to lift your head and chin up,"  Tikki states.

        "Oh, and one more thing," Tikki tells her.

        "What might that be Tikki?" Marinette asks.

          "You should either throw out or donate all the stuff he gave you,"  Tikki explains.

         "Why would I do that for anyway?" Marinette asks with surprise in her voice.

         "Trust me it will make it easier to forget him once any trace of him is gone," Tikki remarks.

          
        Marinette thinks for a moment and realizes Tikki is right.  She knows Tikki has to be because Tikki is both her roommate and her best friend. She has been friends with her since the fourth grade.  She smiles and nods her head in agreement.

        Little did she know as she threw out and donated things that she would come across something long forgotten.  Marinette was about to start something that would clear the way for a new adventure in her life that would even startle Tikki for a change.
